Found a cute cafe in historic downtown Truckee called Drink Coffee Do Stuff and met the guy that runs the place “Kam.” He cheerfully agreed to make his avocado toast on my GF bread. He makes the avocado mash with olive oil and shakes Everything But The Bagel seasoning on top. Yum! The cappuccino was well-executed and tasty. The decor is mountain-sporty, with plenty of seating inside and out, and lots of windows, including some that look out on the train track. Added bonus to feel the train roll by! I’ll be a regular here having acquired a pad nearby. As a former cafe owner/operator, I appreciate places like this. Come spend time here, help make community and - pay in cash (that helps small business SO MUCH).

Good vibes. Coffee is solid. I got overnight oats, it was terrible and I found out it was made 4 days ago. I told the staff and they didn't do anything/offer to replace or refund.

I usually love this place but it seems to have gone down hill. There's a bunch of kids working here that don't know what they are doing. Pretty sure they didn't put the espresso in my smoothie and I asked and kind of just got a blank stare and told it was in there. Then they completely forgot about my kids bagel sandwich even though I asked about it twice. Still waiting for it 15 minutes later.

Espresso, dirty chai, and drip were all solid. Very comfortable and functional cafe space for meeting, sitting, drinking, dog watching, etc. Indoor and outdoor seating. Paid parking in front of the shop. Good looking pastry options and they serve local bagels.

I was really looking forward to trying out Drink Coffee Do Stuff but unfortunately, my experience was marred by a case of food poisoning. I visited the café Monday morning on my last day visiting from out of state and ordered their Horchata coffee special but within 1 hour of consumption, I started feeling unwell. I instantly got the worst stomach ache and threw up for over 14 hours.
While I understand that mistakes can happen, I was surprised that a establishment like Drink Coffee Do Stuff , which prides itself on quality and customer satisfaction, could fall short on food safety standards. I hope that the management takes steps to address this issue and ensures that their customers have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Until then, I would caution others to be aware of the risk of food poisoning and take necessary precautions.
I am usually lazy to leave reviews but this place - was amazing, so here I am, leaving the review. Service was amazing, even memorable. Place is so cozy, and has a home feeling! Coffee was so good, and sandwich as well, most importantly - not boring! I mean, latte with pine, rosemary, sage? That’s amazing. I had the whole forest in my cup, haha. If I would live here, I would come here everyday!

It's a stylish cafe. I had an iced mojito coffee and it was refreshing and delicious. The store staff also responded politely. The toilet was also clean. I recommend stopping by when walking around Truckee ☕️

Worst service ever. Ordered the purple haze which says garnish with lavender buds and I didn’t get it which is fine however when I asked for it the girl denied they do it and then I pointed to the sign and then she dumped a whole thing on top and gave me a horrible look. Your coffee sucks

Really ridiculous that I pay 14 bucks for two coffees and your barista messes up both then I kindly try to explain again what we ordered and for 2 min she is not getting it. Okay, fine we are humans. BUT then she tosses the coffee in front of me without an apology as she is going me a favor. You know guys, Starbucks does a better job. Disappointing.
