Uncorked is a wine merchant right in downtown Truckee. They offer a broad selection of bottles or several selections by the glass. They do also serve a few snacks if your visit includes a lot of sampling. Our host was pleasant and timely. The interior is fancy-rustic and a little dark. The a/c made for a nice and comfortable stop on a warm July day. The place is pretty pricey so we kept our visit brief.
Fantastic eclectic wine selection from around the world. The best part was the friendly & knowledgeable staff. He works Thurs-Sunday and is a wealth of knowledge regarding wine.

Stopped in today for a glass of wine before driving back home. For a predictably busy day, they were severely understaffed; one employee to service as many as 20+ guests at a time. She was doing her best, but should have had some backup. The selection was eclectic enough, but the busyness of everything meant no time for asking questions, tasting anything, etc. I'll give them another shot, but I hope next time it's a more relaxed vibe.
