The vegetable samosa was huge, and the lamb vindaloo was nice and spicy as ordered. The lamb vindaloo had great flavors, especially with the naan. I really enjoyed the meal, and recommend it for something low-key and savory.

I am no Indian food expert, but what a great option post snowboarding/skiing while you charge your car at electrify america. We had the samosa chaat, papri chaat for starters. Then, the lamb vindaloo, navratan korma, and chicken vindaloo as entrees with garlic naan in the side. All the entrees come with rice. Also drank mango lassi's. Everything was good, would re-order except garlic naan, probably would get regular naan instead. Felt like the minced garlic on top was a bit burnt. Few ethnic options in Truckee, so if tired of the standard burgers, pizza, other American foods, and don't want to cook, this is a good option. Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms. Would return if we had to charge around dinner time and didn't want to cook.

Ridonkulous

Ridiculously expensive for the tiny little bowls of curry they give you. I found a hair in the rice plate. The decorations are questionable at best, and the waiter was very quiet and worked slow even though we were the only people there (party of 5). There were particles floating in out waters and all the utensils, plates and cups were dirty. I don't recommend coming here at all. Also, the buffet is closed so ?.

Literally 90 minutes wait after ordering the food. 10-20 minutes before that just to that ale your order. Only 4 tables were busy out of 12-ish. They have zero clues on how to run a restaurant.

Great food. They have parathas that you can ask for (not on the menu). Chai was good. Papdi chaat was also great. Food came pretty fast.

This is an absolutely terrible place. We found HAIR in our naan breads.Every curry tasted different from what it should, basically it was a shade of orange and red.The server was arrogant, rude and completely nonchalant to what was going on. Skip this place if you are craving Indian food after a tiring day on the slopes.Very disappointed.

very authentic, from the food, to music, server and everything. Delicious Indian food. Highly recommend the bread basket (assorted naans), it matches all kinds of curry or masala dishes.

Salty and stale basically sums it up. This is my second time here, wanted it to be better but unfortunately they missed the mark again. The price is ridiculous for the quality :(

Mediocre food, overpriced, very slow service. Every single table in the place was unbussed when we walked in at 6PM. We waited 90min for food with only two other tables seated. Meanwhile, the delivery counter was a revolving door of drivers. Also, there are no adult beverages.

We are vegetarian and travelled from bay area to Tahoe and ate here. Service was not good and missed to bring items in first order. Just samosa chat was good. Tomato soup was too garlicky and spicy. Curries are pricey and we ordered bread basket which had all possible options of bread they had and we could not tell a difference between which price is which bread. Seating is pathetic. We were party of 6 and they did not have a seating to sit 3 parties of my ore than 4 ppl. Reservations are recommended

We came here after a day on the slopes. Staff was very disorganized. We waited for about 20 mins and during that time they didn’t clean up several tables that people had left from or bring silverware to tables that were empty. We stood there for 20 mins and left since it seemed like it would take us hours to get seated, order and get food. The 3 people working including host just seemed to be running around doing nothing.

The workers from the snow equipment store recommended this place, so we decided to check it out. At 4:00, the restaurant was empty and the employee was attentive. We ordered samosas, lamb curry, chicken tikka, and nan. Food was standard, but the highlight is the crispy nann! I'd definitely skip the tikka masala because it was a bit blander than I'm used to, but lamb curry flavor was good. The prices are a bit steeper than your average indian restaurant, even as someone coming from SF. Maybe it's the only best Indian option in Truckee?
