We got a few different apps and entrees. The food was nothing to write home about, but it was still good. Fun little bistro vibes. At times it felt like the waitress was ignoring us and we had empty water glasses multiple times despite it not being a full lounge.
Great food, rabbit pie was a hot, so good I ate it before getting a picture!
The shorter bartender with a buzz cut mocked my girlfriend in an incredibly rude manner to her face while she was seated at the bar politely asking to order. We immediately left, I have never witness such disrespectful service. If you’re going for a drink in town, pick a different establishment.
good food!!
When making a reservation, it would be nice if the host asked if we preferred to sit inside or outside. Sitting outside made me feel as though I was celebrating my wife birthday in someone’s backyard.
Nice staff, great food
We have been going to Moody's every time we get up to Truckee over the last ~7yrs. We often get the tomato soup and sauteed spinach side dish, and this time we got bread and butter, the sole, and a vegetarian pasta dish. The bread and butter was actually heavenly, and everything else was delicious. Our food at Moody's stood out after trying several other restaurants on our trip. We enjoyed our patio seating and could hear the live music inside. We will keep coming!
Delicious meal of pork tenderloin wrapped in Serrano. The hazelnut mouse was great. Waygu beef cheeks were one of the specials, tasty. The leeks soup special was delicious, creamy and nutty.

Fun place with good food, service and atmosphere. They have good live music on weekends but they need to sort out a better sound system to spread it around without crushing the area near the band, it is a restaurant after all. I was at a high top in the bar and the band noise is just too much, you can't hold any conversation. I'll go back but avoid areas near the band if I'm with someone I want to hear.

Got the worst stake i ever had..
Also bad service, disregard my Q ig I replace it and dry me untill I just pay the bill and run from there..
Still hungry
Fantastic dinner. Started with the stone fruit salad which was a perfect blend of acidic, tart and sweet. Pinot Noir was a great choice. I really appreciated I was served butter with sprinkled salt! Steak frites, 9/10. The steak was slightly over salted for my taste. My suggestion is to improve the atmosphere. The back patio seating is the same type of seating you would find in a taqueria where tacos are $3.50/ piece. I wouldn’t call this place cheap by any means. Seating and atmosphere should reflect price of meal, IMO. Also, there was a huge MOODYS sign which I was seated directly below. I could feel the heat radiating off of the sign (it was already high 80’s!). I felt the sign was unnecessary and did not care for how bright it was.
