The vegan options were thoroughly enjoyed, we had one of each of the vegan Ramens, vegan buns, and vegans rolls and the flavors were spot on. Service was good, there was one mistake on order but they corrected it quickly. Lastly though this was first time at this location we had been to a Rakkan in Colorado but we thought these flavors at this just slightly better. If in the area, we will be probably be back.

This place was the best.The food was cooked well and nice, with a good flavor to my liking. I had the pearl, and the ramen was delicious with the broth/sauce. I think the 15 minute wait was worth it. I can tell they tried their best.For my drink I got a calpico, and it arrived later than the server said. When we reminded him, he was really nice and even offered a meal discount. One of the nicest, best staff I’ve ever seen.The outside is pretty, and the atmosphere feels lively and cozy.Overall, I feel like this is a very good place to have dinner if you are flustered around Truckee.

Wow - RAKKAN Ramen is incredible! Their ramen, pork gyoza, and hand rolls are out of this world. RAKKAN Ramen has wonderful varieties of ramen. And the service here is outstanding! Everyone is so friendly. If you are hungry for ramen, come here!

Our party of 4 tried 3 different kinds of ramen plus some crispy pork gyozas, and we all gave the food a thumbs up. The meal really hit the spot after a day of skiing - warm, comforting, and savory. The broth was well-seasoned and very flavorful while being vegetarian, which we appreciated, as it can be hard to find at other ramen places. The ramen noodles were thin and fresh, and the tea egg was soft boiled perfectly and tasted marinated. I still prefer other ramen places in the Bay Area like Ramen Nagi, but this is a good choice in Truckee. Price was a bit higher than average, but I can appreciate a smaller restaurant like this needing to charge a little more to maintain quality and the high level of service that was provided - very friendly and attentive. The space was tasteful and clean, with easy parking next to a very nice Raley's. Bonus is that it was a one minute drive from the Hampton Inn.

My fav restaurant in Lake Tahoe! It’s always so great to have ramen after skiing or snowboarding. I recommend the Asian spicy ramen. It’s so good! I also recommend the pork bun and crispy vegan gyoza ??

I was blown away by their creamy and spicy vegan broth—easily one of the best broths I've ever tasted. The veg gyoza lived up to expectations with its crispy perfection, and the matcha mochi dessert provided a refreshing end to the meal. The minimalistic ambience paired with excellent service added to the overall experience. This place has earned a spot on my favorites list!

The service was excellent and all the staff anticipated needs and communicated well (e.g., providing recommendations on the menu or suggesting places to wait in the area given the 30-45 minutes wait times they were running). We enjoyed the crispy pork gyoza and the garnet ramen very much. The juicy IPA they had on tap (which the menu suggests as a pairing for what we ordered) hit the spot; next time I'll try the sake.

Conveniently located near Tesla charging station, so I got takeout while waiting for car to charge. Got the miso ramen, which was pretty good but not great. Noodles were fresh and firm, which I like but the miso broth was fairly weak. Didn't come out piping hot, but it was takeout.
