Always love Stella! My husband and I just enjoyed Sunday dinner with the perfect atmosphere, lovely evening light, California cuisine, and good service. We also enjoyed daily morning coffees from the (gh / Cedar Sport Hotel) lobby. We had breakfast 6/01 and were very pleased to see vegan options. Avocado toast and Gravity Bowl were both delicious, although highly recommend adding a side of crispy potatoes to the bowl. Produce was extremely fresh and presentation was delightful. We had Jay as our server and he was superb, really made our experience so much more pleasant than our visits to the 3 previous restaurants we have visited in Truckee during our stay. We had a great dinner last night and breakfast this am. Food was very good , prepared well. Jay and Fern did a fabulous job of serving bfast to our family but I will note Stella is short staffed and it affects the experience when the host is also the only server . If staff is added this will be an A plus.
