This place is way overpriced. The food is best mediocre from a taste perspective. Rolls are 20$++ but super small too. At least at other places you get nice big rolls but this one was super small with almost nothing in or on it. I got an Udon soup in addition but first there was not even enough broth in it, second they should try a good Udon. It has an egg and other things in it like sea weed or things like that. This one, nothing. Service was friendly no issue there.

We came here for lunch based on the reviews and were honestly very underwhelmed. The ambience and location were nice, but that was pretty much it. The food was extremely overpriced for the quality and flavors. We don't mind spending more (have been to several Michelins), but only if the food warrants it, but in this case, not so. The taste was very mediocre, and I definitely cook better at home, and I'm not a professional by any means. The sushi had a ton of fixings/sauces/etc but they did not blend well together, and we've had better ones at AYCE joints in Reno. Overall disappointed for the price, and would not be coming back.

Ate there a couple of years ago and still remember the great food! The place was packed with happy customers. Highly recommend.

We're visitors to the area and know the best way to find the good eats is to ask the locals. We were steered here by a young lady at The Sockery, and boy, was she right! My son and I got the ramen we were craving. It was a different style to the tonkatsu we were used to, but it was delicious! My sweetheart got the dandan noodles, and those, too, were fantastic! My youngest son got tuna rolls and scarfed down a double order. The service was fast, and the ambiance was nice. I felt like a local and a favorite Friday night spot rather than a tourist on a Tuesday.

The food is excellent, like really excellent. The only downside is the service is a bit slow. And they use plastic to-go containers, which is a huge bummer.

The service the quite slow but the food was good like surprising good for how far we are from the sea and the vibe was there. Had a good time till the end where they took much time to get the check. Can you just take your money. Great temp indoors no need for jacket. This might be a bit harsh as I am a bit hangey right now but I was a little annoying with all the waiting.

Very good sushi, but this review is for Savannah G. and Savannah M. The Savannahs took excellent care of us at both our dining table and the drinks bar. A sudden downpour threw a wrench into the night, but Tall Savannah and Small Savannah made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you both!

Did they recently undergo a change in management? 'cause ... this is not the same Drunken Monkey as I remember it. Service is colder, management feels less interested in a great dining experience, food tastes like budget cuts are hitting the ingredients, and the latest nuisance - hours of operation are falsely advertised as they won't seat or serve people past 830. (but sure, the door technically stays open until 9).
