Super cozy in the winter - watching everyone ski. Food is pushing very very basic. Like. Basic. Almost ballpark /concession stand. Prices are also like a baseball game; $22 appetizers and $42 “meals” (sandwich). Service is SLOW. This is for hotel guests who have no where else to go. If you are an outside guest, expect 30min to receive the check in hand after asking.

Do not order the espresso martini, pretty sure it was the worst I’ve ever had. We told a bartender if they could kindly give my girlfriend a new drink and took them 30 min even though there were more workers then customers.

Great place rode the gondola up from North Star village. Our server Max was amazing! Food was great, atmosphere amazing. Definitely good place after a long day of skiing kids loved it too. Drinks were amazing too. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you off. Definitely come here and enjoy good food, drinks and atmosphere. It’s pricy but it’s the Ritz sooooooo.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved it. They also know how to behave in a nice restaurant.

The service was excellent. The lady who took our order was so nice. The food was just ok. Even the Moscow mule was so sour we had to change it. The falafel was not super dry but lacked flavor. The farrow bowl was simple but not a fan of mixed cold and warm food. The Burrata was not the best we had. Five star for service.

Fantastic burger (bun is too big tho) and great side salad, and great brisket nachos. I'd get both again. Service is hit or miss. We asked for extra sauce for nachos and he never came back and then we had to ask another person and she finally brought it but our nachos were completely cold by then. Great lobby to hang out when you're staying at the Ritz.

The Living Room has a nice ambience and the layout is inviting and warm. The food was mostly good: we enjoyed the crispy chicken sandwich, the brisket nachos, and the Caesar salad. However, we were surprised by the lack of vegan options. There are a few vegetarian dishes, but only one could be made vegan. There were also some missing components of some dishes: the farro bowl came without pecans and the cauliflower bites came without the sweet pepper gel.Our food took a very long time to come and one starter never arrived. The waiter was friendly, but disappeared in the end and after another long wait, we had to flag someone else for the check. We found the overall experience good as far as food and ambience, but disappointing as far as the wait and lack of vegan choices.

The Living Room is super cozy with couches, fireplaces and tv's. We opted for bar seating and met Bryce. He was great with recommendations and really wanted to craft cocktails for your palette. The Ritz Carlton guest favorite is Smoky Pine, which was Bryce's recipe. Not into drinking? He makes a great mocktail, just let him know if you tend to lean more into savory or sweet drinks. The bison chili is gluten free and dairy free if you opt out of the sour cream, so I did that. My husband did the Ritz Carlton burger and loved it. Not staying at the Ritz? You can hit the slopes and grab lunch here at living room, then hop back on the mountain.

Caesar salad was browned and wilted. Other food was like cafeteria food (we also got a sandwich). It is shocking a place this bad is affiliated with the Ritz Carleton which is so lovely and luxurious!

Terrible. Impossible to get seated even as a hotel guest. Food is mediocre and service is impossibly slow. You'll wait 15 minutes for a server and then even longer for mediocre food.

Loved our dinner here on our last night in Tahoe. We were not staying at the hotel but with two little ones, the gondola to the Ritz is a fun and free activity so we came up to spend the evening. The staff were so kind and accommodating-I can't speak highly enough of the level of service and quality of food here. They immediately got us two high chairs and a kids menu so we could order quickly for the kiddos. We really appreciated that the kids menu wasn't just fried food and burgers/fries. They had pasta as well as salmon and roasted veggies which we ordered for our 2yo and baby. I ordered the pork ramen and my husband got a chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious and came out quickly (a must when dining with tiny humans). My only slight complaint was that my margarita (mocktail) was expensive and mostly ice though it tasted great!Would highly recommend eating here even if you're not staying at the Ritz. Felt like a special occasion place but still approachable and kid-friendly.

This is great place to have snack, lunch or dinner while you are in Ritz-Carlton, Truckee, ca. They have a great service ( should be 10 stars ) and cocktails drink ( should be 10 stars too. if it doesn't listed on the menu you asked the server or bartender to make it ). They make New York sour for me. The food was was just ok. Brisket nachos does not come with salsa and you can even order side salsa.

Great neighborhood go-to. I've never had a bad experience. Staff is friendly, food is good, and the live music and djs are perfect! Highly recommend this place.
