“I’m always doubtful when I see a 5 star review, but this neighborhood gem certainly deserves it. The staff is friendly, everything is clean, but the food!!! We ordered the family plate (to eat there) which was to feed 4, and we could only eat about half - it could feed 4 growing teenagers. Everything they brought out was delicious. There was a plate of pickled vegetables, a bowl of fantastic hummus with pita, a large plate of garlic fries, a plate full of grilled vegetables, and a large platter full of grilled meats. Everything was flavored to perfection. The beef kabob was cut-with-a-fork tender. I would definitely come back. The only problem is that it is too close to home and I’d be temped to go too often!“

“This is not just a kabob house, it’s also a specialty butcher with good quality meat. Their kabobs though, are very tasty, one of the best in SoCal. I always order luleh kabobs to go whenever I’m around and for family gatherings. I’d definitely recommend everyone to try it.“

“I love it here, and just doing a review as I was about to go a 2nd time this week (I usually only get to go once a week due to my schedule, but I’m on vacation this week) and was checking the menu online and noticed a ridiculous review from someone scared of the dark and unable to digest iceberg lettuce (seriously, buddy learn to cook and stay away from restaurants ) . So this place is a hidden GEM! The food is fresh and amazing, the staff is sweet, caring and highly efficient, the prices are fair and reasonable, and the hummus is literally my favorite hummus and I’ve had many. I normally go once a week and get 2 of the chicken bowls, one with lettuce (because I’m normal) and shrazi and hummus and cucumber yogurt, and a 2nd bowl for my wife that is exactly the same except every item is separated (she is a Virgo). After only the first few weeks they remembered my order including my wife’s packaging modifications. Some months back I came in after a bad hand injury, and to this day they always check how it’s healing.
I could go on but getting hungry and have to get my bowl (or might try a wrap for fun)

But the food here is straight up. Amazing! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but what introduced me to this place was their burgers which are just incredible. I just got one after so long and I just couldn't help but notice that it looks like the Real life version of the Krabby Patty

“Don't be fooled by this small hidden restaurant. It serves AMAZING food.
Armen, the owner, is super friendly. He really cares about serving the best quality food. You can tell he's passionate about it.

The menu has lots of delicious options. I ordered the chicken thigh shish kabob. It came with very tender juicy mouth watering chunks of chicken on a bed of flavorful rice. There's a side of fire roasted jalapenos tomatoes, and hummus. Also comes with lavash bread and garlic sauce. I wish it came with a little extra chicken though.

There's only street parking. One picnic style table in front of the restaurant.

They appear to mainly cater to take out and to go orders. While there, lots of customers stopped by to pick up their orders.

It seems like they all knew Armen and he knew them. He has frequent customers.

Be prepared to wait a while for your order. Everything is freshly prepared. I would advise to call ahead and place your order. It took about 40 minutes for our food to be ready.

On a side note, mini kabob is associated with mideat taco restaurant, which is also AMAZING“

“This place is close to a 5. But here's what happens and it's common at restaurants like this: either order a plate or pay like $70 for 2 people. The Toum is great. Falafel is really good. Lentil Soup really bland. Hummus taboulee and baba ghanouj are all really good. The Foul was great actually.“

“Holy Moly! Really good charcoal-fired kebabs at a really good value. This Mom and Pop place is clean, welcoming and offers high-quality food. The steak kebab was amazingly tender and flavorful and the Spicy Chicken breast and regular Chicken breast kebabs were equally delicious. We ordered the platter which includes perfectly prepared rice, creamy hummus, lavash bread, and a large green bbq’d pepper and tomato. The kebabs and vegetables are cooked over a charcoal fire, which adds to the wonderful flavor. The owners are personal and friendly and have pride in their business. The restaurant is located in a small center and not visible from the road. There are a few tables, but it is primarily take-out orders. I will definitely be back to try the Lula kebabs and the red bean salad.

“Update 2024: place is awesome as always. Amazing great tasting FRESH food. The kabobs have such a unique flavor and the meat just melts in your mouth. Their secret sauce pairs very well with everything. The antonyan family is so nice to us and every time we go in they greet and treat us like family. They have amazing hospitality.

Went yesterday to the grand opening. The antonyan family literally operated the the restaurant. Vardan and his dad were in the back cooking and Suzie and marine were at the front taking orders and handing out the meals. Jonah was out there greeting everybody asking how everything is and all

Since David's vlogs I always wanted to try jonahs dad's kabob and they are really really good. They served them in a wrap with fries. Very simple menu and Susie was super nice and attentive. Over this place is awesome and the antonyan family are super cool and funny just like in the vlogs. They are loud and funny.

“Certainly not the only one, but definitely a wonderful choice to get Mediterranean food for lunch or a quick dinner. The place is located in a a cute little building (missed it on the first drive-by) with a mini garden to sit outside at one of four tables. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, cleanly presented. Now, if you are curious enough about my "rating scheme", here's "the moment of truth. I am a music photographer who travels the world with the worlds greatest musical talents (Michael Jackson, AC/DC, Rolling Stones or Rammstein, to name a few) for almost 40 years. When being asked "where do you live" I tended to ask "in hotels". At my peak, I "shot" 250 shows a year. Will say: been there, saw and tasted it, and a lot, as I may say and much to the dismay of my doctor who is in my back to lose a few pounds. Quite a few, as I may add, which is why my wife and I walk ten thousand steps per day, where- and whenever we can - and explore a lot of new exciting places - places you may oversee when just driving by. While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked how people use their "power of word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all time favourite​ restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French​ place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "you give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree. So If I had the say on this portal, I would offer just to see ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this simply does not compare to "The Ritz". At first,​ I assume that a restaurant is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. In my rating scheme, three or more stars are awarded if they actually exceeded my expectation. Four, if I am sure I will come back.
