“Went here because I saw there were good reviews and there is a good reason. I tried the Tri Tip, Chicken shawarma and chicken breast. All three excellent. I'd say Trip Tip was the best of the three. Also, grabbed a baklava and it was one of the best I've had.“

“I got caught in some street construction and had to drive thru Vanowen St when I saw Haig’s Kabob House !!! I immediately pulled over to take a look. They have all types of meats Beef… Lamb… Venison… Wild Boar… Chicken. Also all type of Mediterranean spices and drinks +hummus. I bought several pounds of marinated chicken breast. Went home and cooked up YUMMY. Every time I am near by .. got stop by!!!“

My favorite items were the stuffed grape leaves and hummus w/ pita bread. Don't forget the Shirazi salad (chopped cucumbers & tomatoes). Enjoy!“

“Since I was born, kabob has been my favorite food, full stop. I’ve had kabob all over LA County. They charge you $38 at Raffi’s and Pardis for a kabob barg plate, give you the same amount of meat, and fill the plate with rice. Masis Kabobs’ food has no flavor; they don’t marinate their meat correctly and don’t cook their tomato enough, as it’s always mostly raw.
Harry over at Moon Mart Kabob gives you the best kabob, jigar, and abgoosht. If it’s you and a few friends, go over to Moon Mart Kabob, and you’ll realize why it’s so good, in my opinion. He charges you $20 for kabob barg, and he’s such a nice guy that you’ll be really happy eating there and giving him your business—not just because of his niceness, but also because he knows his stuff.“

I never know what to order because their dishes never disappoint. When I’m craving that classic home-style comfort, I go for the fattoush salad with rice and shawarma — and of course, the warm pita bread and creamy hummus are a must. If I’m in the mood to try a little bit of everything, I pick a few of their sides. Their cheese rolls are amazing! And on days when I want something simple yet still full of flavor, the lentil soup is always perfect.

“What a Great Find! First time there and Junior took time to explain the whole menu to us. He also prepared the Delicious meal! We tried the chicken kabob, Shawarama, rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus with pita bread. Fantastic meal!!! We also watched him prepare a Wrap which was Huge. We definitely be back!!! This great little place is located in the CVS shopping center on Hollywood Way and Verdugo.“

I ordered the chicken plate and it came with the most juiciest chicken bites, the fluffiest long-grain rice, and ripest summer mini tomato’s. “Certainly not the only one, but definitely a wonderful choice to get Mediterranean food for lunch or a quick dinner. The place is located in a a cute little building (missed it on the first drive-by) with a mini garden to sit outside at one of four tables. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, cleanly presented. Hit on the menu - I was told - is the Chipotle Chicke. I went for the lamb gyros and the spinach dip - and loved both: Everything was tasty - and good to come back another time - so four stars :-) Now, thank you for reading my comment. Now, if you are curious enough about my "rating scheme", here's "the moment of truth. I am a music photographer who travels the world with the worlds greatest musical talents (Michael Jackson, AC/DC, Rolling Stones or Rammstein, to name a few) for almost 40 years. When being asked "where do you live" I tended to ask "in hotels". At my peak, I "shot" 250 shows a year. Will say: been there, saw and tasted it, and a lot, as I may say and much to the dismay of my doctor who is in my back to lose a few pounds. Quite a few, as I may add, which is why my wife and I walk ten thousand steps per day, where- and whenever we can - and explore a lot of new exciting places - places you may oversee when just driving by. While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked how people use their "power of word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all time favourite​ restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French​ place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "you give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree. So If I had the say on this portal, I would offer just to see ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this simply does not compare to "The Ritz". At first,​ I assume that a restaurant is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. In my rating scheme, three or more stars are awarded if they actually exceeded my expectation. Four, if I am sure I will come back. To achieve five stars, I must be willing to take a detour of thirty minutes or more to go again. Again, thank you for reading this.“

“Since moving to the area, we've eaten here more than we'd care to admit! Incredible quality, freshness, seasoning, and portion sizes. Sepan does not miss, and Arman and his team are all so lovely.

My fiancée and I hosted our engagement party this weekend, and having Sepan catered was the easiest planning choice we made. Arman delivered food for 50+ guests packaged to easily eat family style, and it was not only a HUGE hit, but didn't break the bank, and we had tons of leftovers.

Cannot recommend Sepan Chicken enough!!“
