I haven't gave a 5 star straight to anything. Sad to say in my 40 years I never went to Black Bear Diner, since yesterday with my dad in Turlock, than we went agian and in lodi...to my surprise the food was beyond delicious and the customer service was top notch. I was surprised. Very mych happy with our food and service and atmosphere.I found my go to place for breakfast and lunch.

I just got back from eating at black bear diner this evening and I was disappointed with the all you can eat fish and chips. My daughter ordered a fried fish dinner and my wife and I had the all you can eat fish. When they brought out our plates I noticed my daughter's fish was breaded different than ours. She had better quality and ours was breaded different and mushy. If you ever orders the all you can eat beware ☹️ and the place was empty....something going on.
