Not only is the Hainan Chicken some of the best in all of OC, but the ginger rice and Khao Soi are amazing too.
I love the crispy Larb chicken. I got it there and it was fresh, crispy and perfect. We ate at the cafe and it’s one of my favorite dishes of all time now.
But i went there again today and my crispy larb had a lid on it and was not fresh, it was lukewarm. The chicken was soggy. And it just wasn’t as good. I was confused because we ate at the cafe again.
Why am I getting a dish that is hours old?

Tustin is The Chicken Rice's second location and can be found near the intersection of Newport Avenue and 1st Street in Larwin Square. It's not a standalone restaurant but instead is located inside the recently opened 99 Ranch market. There are a few tables if you plan to dine in, but I expect most patrons will order for takeout.
