“The authenticity and quality of this restaurant is incredible. No restaurant located in a remote mountain town has any business being this amazing! This is some of the best Italian food I’ve had outside Italy. The restaurant is family run; (the restaurant is named after the region that the family comes from, which happens to be the same region of Italy that my family came from a century ago.) If you eat anywhere in the mountains this should be the top of your list.“

“This is everything we love from a local and loved place when traveling. It is quaint and warm inside in terms of atmosphere and food. Not a big place, and no high chairs from what we could tell- just a handful of tables. But we were fortunate and came at a good time and were able to sit downstairs and chat with the bartender the whole time with our 18m old. Kyle the Bartender treated us like family in his home and we had a great time.“

“I came in looking for a blueberry fritter but they make them on Fridays and Saturdays so I had the apple fritter and was not disappointed to say the least it was the best one I have ever had it was fresh and I could taste the apples and cinnamon and it wasn’t overly sweet very nice man working there great customer service he said I could special order the blueberry fritter just let him know ahead of time all the donuts looked amazing“

“Good beer in a cool spot by the lake. Flights of 4 are available, and they have fun games to play while you drink. Bartender was very nice, we accidentally spilled a 4oz taster beer and he gave us another one at no charge. The Scorpion Bowl Sour was my favorite, the Flatlander Blonde is also solid.“

“An excellent restaurant for a nice dinner. Their steak and fried are both very good. The best though is their cheesebread and dipping sauce, which is a house made marinera. Literally the best I've ever had.They also have a good selection of wine and the staff is very friendly. We visit here periodically and have enjoyed it everytime. “I found this restaurant on Google, and was not disappointed! My chile verde omelet was slathered with chile verde that had a nice kick to it, though not overwhelming. Other reviews are correct the their salsas are outstanding, very fresh and obviously homemade! Love how they serve the creamy refried beans in a small bowl made of a tortilla. Fun decor with a kitschy Route 66 theme, and great service too!“

“Good drinks, pretty bad service. We were just there this past Friday, the Hispanic girl seem super upset. I get it, we were there 40 mins before they closed. Had no boba, understandable. I still gave them a big tip. Soooo regret it, the girl was extremely rude. Saw her count the straws we needed and literally threw them and said "here's your order". Typical Gen Z worker, who thinks they’re better than you, smarter than you, more capable than you. What she lacks is interpersonal skills required for face-to-face interactions. I want my tip back ?“

“We had such a great night out at the Dogwood Tavern! We're in from out of town and were looking for a place to get drinks and dinner, and was open past 9pm. As we Googled restaurants, this was hard to find in the area. I came across Dogwood Tavern, and it seemed to check all the boxes, so we gave it a shot.I'm so glad we did! The food was great! Ingredients were fresh, and portions were large. They did not skimp on the avocado.They had a great selection of alcohol. Drinks were great! My lemon drop martinis were on point! The owner/bartender even asked if I liked them sweet or tart, which to me is always a good sign that the bartender cares that you get a drink you are going to like.And what a great atmosphere! I was pleasantly shocked by the amount of seating. They had booths, tables, and bar seating available.There were 2 billiards tables, a few other games, large tvs and a stage. We were in on a Monday night in early March, so it was the off-season, but there was a nice flow of customers. But I bet this place gets hopping on the weekends.The selection of music playing over the speakers was perfect! It was at a great volume to where I could still have a conversation with the people around me.If you are in the area, stop into the Dogwood Tavern; you won't be disappointed!“

“Now this is how coffee shops should be! Higher Grounds is a very cozy, intimate, community-based spot with fantastic drinks/food and great seating both indoors and outdoors. “Loved the food at Toni's! We came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was the perfect quiet and cozy environment we were looking for. We ordered the chilaquiles and torta de asada and everything was delicious! We also had a nice view of Lake Gregory which added to the experience. The waitress was very kind and attentive too. “This review is for the lake and its surroundings. We visited in November and it was picturesque with the Fall leaf colors. There is an easy walking loop around the perimeter of the lake (around 2 miles) which allows for beautiful photos along the trail. There are two main parking lots which you pay through your phone. The fees were reasonable ($2.35 for one hours and $3.35 for 2 hours). There are a few parking spots on the street as well. I love how quiet and peaceful it was. Lake Gregory is not as busy as Lake Arrowhead so I didn't have to deal with the crowds and traffic. There is a boat house where you can rent Duffy boats, kayak, fishing equipment, paddle boats, etc. There is a fenced in dog park. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!“

“I have not had the opportunity to go to the restaurant in person but have ordered through Grub Hub multiple times. I am a local so I have passed by the "food court" that it is located in. They are the only restaurant in there so maybe that's why I didn't notice it at first.Food quality is consistent, order is always correct, and I can taste the love put into the food.I can't wait to go in person ! “I will say this pizzarea was indeed a good spot for games and the food is great, not bad. The sport bar is pretty good, you can watch your sports team in tv and cheer. It pretty good place.Vegetarian options: Although I don't oder from the vegetarion section, however I do see my folks order two types, one of them is a caesar saled not sure about other one; but I do know there is a decent selection.Parking: The Parking lot does have good space so it's not to difficult to find one, unless it's packed then yeah, but no.Kid-friendliness: There is enough games for kids to play, so they won't be bored. “I just left about 5 min ago. I say this without any exaggeration, wow ?????. Delicious. Never have I ever had Pho with a flavor profile such as this one. Last time I was here it was about a year and a half ago and it is 10x better. Not to say that it wasn't good before, but now it's really a threat to other Pho places. “This place is amazing came by because I needed a pick me up to a really rough morning with my pets. I found out they were actually closed for another half hour. But the wonderful co-founder Tansu of their store, still opened their doors to me. I had the pleasure of speaking with Tansu. Let me just say it's refreshing to hear someone realize how amazing our city can be. If we just put showed some care into others and our city. While putting everyone else on the opposite side. I don't think I'll come back to this restaurant for this reason. Everyone should be treating the same .“
