Great stuff! Chinese Vietnamese style pho served with a ginger scallion sauce which really makes the dish. You can pick from 4 different kinds of noodles.

Boneless Chicken Noodle ($15.99) - Shredded chicken for the lazy customers! Broth tasted pretty good.

My go-to for phở gà. They do it right here. This is also one of the few places that have bún thang, which is a chicken broth based noodle soup with vermicelli, shredded chicken, egg and chả lụa (steamed pork sausage). It's a fairly small restaurant with 8-9 tables but there's usually no wait. I've alsso has takeout here and it was quick and smooth.

If you're Vietnamese or know what Vietnamese food is supposed to taste like, I do not recommend coming here. It's not good and doesn't taste anything like Viet food. It's really a hainanese chicken place not a Viet/pho restaurant.

The pho ga is flavorful. The steam chicken is tender and delicious. I warmed up the chicken since I prefer it that way. The chicken wings are bigger than normal, but they taste good.

Took 45 minutes to get my food after ordering at opening. I’m sure the kitchen forgot my order. Food was okay nothing I would come back to. Egg rolls was plain and not flavorful. Service could definitely improve. No sense of urgency.

This food was so spot on! No beef, chicken is their protein. Don't come in asking for red meat. The chicken is tasty and the soup is so good! Also the homemade sauce for the chicken is an awesome taste! We'll be back for sure!!

Disgusting, server was mopping and serving food in between without washing hands. This is a health violation. I’m not going back.

Blown away by this place - a clear step above most of the pho restaurants I’ve had in the Bay

Highlights:
- I enjoyed the various options for noodles like vermicelli, fresh, and egg noodles
- made with yellow chicken
- homemade chili sauce
- homemade ginger scallion sauce provided with chicken orders
- my boyfriend and I both commented on how seasoned the chicken by itself was (they must’ve brined it)
- friendly service that speaks Viet, Canto, & English

Low lights (?):
- only chicken pho here so if you’re craving beef, best look elsewhere
- in a busy plaza so parking can be a struggle

Nice com ga Nam An. Only concern is the hot soup is in plastic bowl. Spoon is also in plastic. Hope the utensils and the food processing process could use healthier stuff.

So glad this chicken pho place is near my home. Super comforting. The broth is clean, flavorful and free of MSG. Chicken soup for the soul of on a cold, windy, or rainy day in the East Bay.
