Very spicy though we asked for less spice but what can you expect when all the photos are full of chili lol
Tried both dine-in and phone call to-go.
Dine In: It usually takes more than half an hour to have your table ready and more than another half an hour to get your food on. It’s tough if you’re hungry. The waiters are friendly though
Take Out: Be careful for their silent 10% surcharge for your to-go order. It’s not decent to hide this for customers, and that also takes almost one hour to get your to-go food…

Good prices, portion and flavor. Their braised pork leg, honey walnut prawns, and fried eggplant with potato’s were great. With friends and family, you still end up with leftovers to take home. My friend who never had traditional Chinese food before loved this place and wants to take his family here one day.

WANG JIA WEI is a restaurant that serves authentic Northern Chinese food. The food is authentic as in China, and the place is legit, with lots of families bringing their older Asian parents. The food is tasty and has big portions, with good prices, portion and flavor. The braised pork leg, honey walnut prawns, and fried eggplant with potato’s were great. The liangpi was the best, with wonderful raw garlic notes and not too mustardy. Other dishes were all cooked to perfection and the serving size is very reasonable for the price. The stewed ribs are made the way a Beijing grandmother used to. The sweet and sour pork is also popular. However, the wait can be long-ish. It usually takes more than half an hour to have your table ready and more than another half an hour to get your food. The wait is a bit long but this is because everything was made scratch, not from frozen. There is a silent 10% surcharge for to-go orders. The waiters are friendly though, and the service was very kind and helpful. Seating is limited and many tables can seat six.
