I'm going to start this review off with saying I ate here in November of last year, on a day that wasn't busy. This could be why my food was as good as it was. I ordered the tuna melt but was worried about the quality. Tuna can be such a hit or miss, but let me tell you, it was the best tuna melt I'd ever had. What can you say? You visit Universal studios, you have to have at least one meal at Mel's.Unfortunately, the day we decided to eat there was raining so it ruined The ambience a tad,but still it was a decent meal.Mel's is kind of an icon there, so at least consider eating there.You'll be glad you did, as well as being satisfied with your meal.

I was just here this past weekend and I ordered two Mel's double burgers with fries and it was good. The burger was good and the fries were average. The service may be kinda slow because a lot of people go here and the ambiance is nice. Old school theme to it. I might have just gotten lucky and came on a day where the food was made near perfect.
