Note that this place IS NOT the same restaurant as past reviews. We ordered from the vegan menu, and this place is an absolute disgrace to the Madre Tierra mural covering its outer wall. The previous owners deeply cared about their food and customers. Nowadays, they don’t even pretend to put out fresh food. The waiter couldn’t answer basic questions about the menu. The street tacos were literally inedible — a few flour tortillas with plain cold vegan ‘meat,’ nothing else on it. Wish we took a picture, but we were appalled and sent it back. Truly an affront to Mexican cuisine and the vegan philosophy.

Great place for karaoke and a relaxing evening at the bar. The service is prompt, polite, attentive, non insistent, and friendly. The DJ and music on karaoke nights are excellent and very fun. The food could be better and their food pricing is too high for the quality.

Me and my boyfriend came to try a new seafood restaurant in town, had high hopes with the ratings here on yelp. Got seated right away, music was great. Our waitress since the beginning was really rude. We didn't get a welcome to blah blah, she just asked if we wanted to order appetizers she seemed she was in a hurry or didn't have patience. She was walking away within the 20seconds after asking us. She brought the chips and guacamole we order then left. We got our food in a timely manner which that was good. When we got our shrimp cocktail, they didn't bring lemons. We asked her for ketchup and lemons. When she brought the lemons she just left them in the corner of the table without saying anything. Just like when you leave food to an animal. The whole time we were there not even the 3 waiters that were there came to ask if we good or we needed anything else. Just to mention the place was not even packed, their was only 2 families and us their. I got asked after I told them to bring the total if I wanted a refill on my cup. (after we finished eating and about to leave I get asked if | wanted a refill:/). At the register they added a $15 típ automatically, I asked my boyfriend not to tip them because they never got near our table at the time we sat there. Never coming back here.

They have a very comprehensive separate vegan menu (just ask). I had a California Burrito, which was massive and delicious. They use seitan for the asada option. The waitstaff were also very knowledgeable
