My family was craving Persian food so we made a trip from Victorville. We were not disappointed! Fresh, delicious, authentic Persian food and hospitable service in a remodeled lovely dining area! Dishes were tasty and seasoned well. Definitely going on our family night out rotation! A+
Upland Kabob is a restaurant that offers authentic Persian cuisine, known to rival some of the popular Persian restaurants in cities such as Anaheim and Glendale. The restaurant is highly regarded in the Inland Empire area, and is a popular choice for those craving traditional ethnic dishes.
The restaurant offers takeout options, and the food is carefully packaged to maintain its freshness and taste. Customers have praised the chicken and koubideh dishes, which are described as juicy, tender, and succulent. The chicken barg, in particular, is noted for its homemade garlic paste which elevates the taste. The restaurant's fessenjan dish, made with pomegranate and walnuts, has also received high praise for its complementary flavors.
The restaurant's ambiance has been described as subpar, but the customer service is exceptional, with staff being generous in their servings and attentive to customers' needs. Many highlight the friendly and welcoming service, huge portions, and delicious side salads. The steak kabob barg is cooked to perfection, and the hummus, yogurt, and appetizers are all delish. Don’t miss the wonderful baklava for dessert.
Overall, Upland Kabob is a highly recommended restaurant for those looking for authentic Persian cuisine, with unmatched local flavors and excellent customer service. It’s a hidden gem in Ontario, with free parking available.
