Hokulia Shave Ice is a warm and welcoming spot, where friendly owners and staff greet customers. The shaved ice is a highlight, with unique flavors like Lychee, Passion Fruit, and Guava. The POG Speciality is a popular menu item. The shaved ice is reminiscent of traditional Hawaiian treats and authentic Hawaiian-style shave ice. The ice is extremely fluffy and doesn’t freeze together after adding the flavors. Customers often say it’s the best shaved ice ever and enjoy the taste just like in Hawaii, especially on hot days. The place is super clean with plenty of seating and great for hanging out without feeling crowded. There are LOTS of flavors to choose from, including fruit punch, red raspberry, and lemonade, with options like vanilla ice cream with pineapple and coconut running through it. Adding a scoop of ice cream in the bottom is a must. Parking is available in the bowling alley parking lot, and the restaurant is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible. Seating is limited, making it less suitable for large groups, but the staff can handle big orders of shaved ice efficiently.
