This spot caught me totally off guard. They recommended fresh oysters and they were easily the best I had in the past decade. The portions were great, and the preparation was without fault. This is a gem of a restaurant.
Staff are so nice!!! Seeing our server interact so positively with everyone there even though it was almost closing was very sweet. The rolls are good portions and yummy. I had the Thursday, Saturday and Chef Rainbow roll. Definitely stopping here for lunch when I have PD at work
Been coming here for more than a decade! Fantastic staff, great food, always consistent and have always had a great time. First off the staff is super welcoming, literally family, even took shots with them a few times 😊. The sushi here is amazing with lots of options to choose from. Kazan Japanese Cuisine is a local hidden gem known for excellent food and amazing staff. They accommodate big groups and provide gluten-free options. The explosion roll and beef teriyaki bento are must-tries, featuring super tender meat and great portions. The dragon rolls are rolled perfectly and are complemented by just the right amount of unagi sauce, while the tempura rolls are buttery and crispy, exceeding expectations in size. The atmosphere is relaxing, with a new redecorating that enhances the dining experience. Service is attentive and friendly, making it a favorite spot for fresh sushi. With plenty of seating available, food is served quickly. Highly recommended for a "local feel" in Vacaville!
