LOVE the food here and the people are always nice!
Went on Friday, the tacos are okay. Also got the torta ahogada, but it was not “ahogada”. I do like their chamorro, so I had high hopes for the torta. Asked for the hottest version of it, and the salsa was bland without a hint of spice. The meat on the torta was a bit salty as well, and they use the wrong type of bread, which gets soggy quickly.
Authentic Mexican food.

Taquería Hecho En Mexico is a wonderful and authentic spot with amazing, flavorful food. Fresh homemade tortillas and great salsa are highlights, with a salsa bar and free chips with orders. On Friday and Saturday nights, an outdoor taco cart serves street tacos like pastor, asada, and suadero that hit the spot every time, with grill onions, jalapenos, and toppings on the side. The vegetarian burrito and steak burrito are good, with fast service. The staff is very nice and amazing, and the atmosphere is very chill with classics. Food comes hot, and customers drive from Sacramento to eat here.
