Our food was given to another table, and my family and I waited almost an hour for our meal. During that time, we were going back and forth about whether we should even leave because no one gave us clear information. Instead of the owner coming out to apologize or address the issue himself, he sent the server, which missed the point.

When it was time to close out, the owner spoke among his employees and walked away after we tried to approach him. The real issue is that he did not step up until the very last minute and only took off a couple of dollars, as if we didn’t wait nearly an hour and weren’t informed until much later that our food was given to the wrong table.

As loyal consumers, this approach was disappointing. We were not in the wrong—the restaurant was. The owner needs to work on stepping up and playing his role when situations like this happen. This is also why many Black people feel discouraged from spending our money in certain places—we are often not given the same respect as others. You can see it when “others” walk in and are treated differently.

I do like the restaurant, but these are things that truly need improvement. 0/10.

I had a crab sandwich and garlic fries. Food was actually pretty good. Sandwich was EXTREMELY tiny, like child hot dog bun size. But flavorful.

Definitely the worst experience.

From the moment we arrived, the lady had a sour face and was very unwilling to serve us.
Totally unhappy with the food. I think they forgot to include 1 pound of garlic on the receipt because they literally gave me more garlic than any other product.
I understand my order was garlic butter, but it's not about giving me more garlic than clams and shrimp.
They also forgot to include my corn on the cob.
I definitely won't be returning to that store.

I’ve been to this restaurant several times before and always enjoyed both the food and the service. However, my most recent visit for lunch was a completely different experience.

When my friend and I arrived, we asked for a window table. Our server, Isaac, kindly seated us there — but a few minutes later, he came back and asked us to move because “the passer needed to clean that area.” We didn’t think much of it at first and agreed to move.

However, no one ever came out to clean that area. The only thing we saw was a staff member coming out and sitting at that same table to eat their lunch, which felt very odd. We wouldn’t have minded moving to another window table if it were for a legitimate reason, but asking paying customers to move just so an employee can enjoy their lunch at their favorite spot is completely unprofessional. The real question is — why seat us there in the first place if it wasn’t available?

About ten minutes later, things got even worse. While eating, my friend found a hair inside his rice — not just on top, but mixed in with the food. Neither of us have long hair, so it was clearly from the kitchen. We stopped eating the rice right away, finished what little we could, and when we asked for the check, we politely mentioned it to our server. He apologized and offered a discount, which we declined — this wasn’t about money, it was about food safety and hygiene.

What really disappointed me was the manager’s response — or rather, lack of one. Instead of coming over personally to apologize or even acknowledge the issue, the manager sent the server back to offer us ice cream. Finding a hair in food is a serious health and safety concern, not something that can be brushed off with dessert

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. It’s unfortunate, because I used to genuinely enjoy coming here, but after this visit, I’m not sure I’ll be returning to this location ever again.

If your posted hours are 10 pm. You should not be turning people away at 9 pm for dine in and especially not for take out.

Been here several times but first time ordered garlic noodles. I should have been ordering this instead because it's really good. Salad is great as well but I had to request extra dressing.

The A/C wasn’t turn on and it was warm when I walked into the restaurant. Had to ask the waitress to put up A/C which they did (good customer service to ensure customers are satisfied). The Cajun fries were well seasoned, served warm and crispy! The oysters were absolutely fresh and refreshing! I’ve never had big oysters like these. The seafood boil house seasoning was delicious. The seasonings wasn’t only on the shells but it also absorbed inside the meat. Very good!!!!

I ordered through doordash and the delivery was very Timely however when I receive my food it was not at all what I expected. The fries were old stale and hard, the fish was hard an overcooked, the shrimp was hard and rubbery like car tires. I called and was told the manager was in a meeting and I will get a call back. So instead I go to the store and was told the manager was still in the meeting. Then another employee came out and said that the manager was not there and that they could recook the food. No apologies about the poor quality of food they had sent out in the first place. So I told him at this point I did not want them to remake the food I just wanted my money back. I was then told they could not refund. Then one employee asked me where the shrimp was at, the insinuated that we ate it so I pulled everything out the bag including the shrimp and the pieces that my daughter had bit off of but did not eat it completely because it was too hard. The lack of concern or care from the employees was pathetic.
