I don't get the low average review score. I'm not a student, but I've eaten here several times during meetings and conferences. The food has always been top-notch. The service is amazing. And the dining room is immaculately clean and well-appointed. I've met the head chef who is the top of the game.

The Cal Maritime Marketplace offers a good quality of food with a large selection, in a very clean and calm atmosphere. However, the limited lunch hours and slow service can be frustrating for some. The online ordering system is also limited, making it inconvenient for certain customers. The head chef is known to be the top of the game, and the service is amazing. The dining room is immaculately clean and well-appointed. While the food is decent, the restrictions on using one's own money and taking leftovers can be inconvenient for some.
