Best home style fried chicken in the area. Fried okra tastes like mom's. Good prices, good deals.

Ordered 9 piece mix and it was over $16. The last 3 times, they gave me FOUR legs, sometimes with THREE wings with 1 thigh and 1 breast ... sometime it's 2 wings with 2 thighs and 1 breast, or 1 thigh and 2 breasts. Why are you dumping FOUR legs in a 9-piece mix? That's $1.80 ... almost $2 per leg. They jacked up the price but the chicken is the same. The place is the same. It's actually worse because there are now homeless people standing in front and aggressively asking for food.FAFO Church's chicken ... you f your customer and guess what? They go to Safeway to get the 8-piece mix for $9.99. Like I did!I go to Safeway and asked them what do I get for an 8-piece mix? 2 legs, 2 wings, 2 thighs, 2 breats. Done. Give me 2 orders.I used to always go to Church's but y'all mistreating your customers. Bye!

Service is good the cashiers are very friendly, but the chicken taste old, not freshly cooked at all. Apple pies are still good, along with the fries okra.

Sketchy area where there's an aggressive homeless guy standing at the pickup window demanding 3 pieces of chicken because he's hungry.Ordered 9 piece mix here multiple times and they ALWAYS put in 4 drumsticks ... cold, stale ... I guess no one wants drumsticks so they dump them all in the "mix".9 piece mix should ALWAYS be 2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 wings, 2 drumsticks + whatever they want to get rid of (drumsticks). NOT 4 drumsticks!

I give 3.5 star⭐️s. I love me some Church's. I really do. Things have been off with them the last few months.. service has been off, orders weren't correct,Food just not as good. This last time was a bit better. Chicken didn't taste as fresh the next day though.

Super sketchy location, the drive through isnt well configured as the turn after the order/menu area isnt great. Food and service are always top notch and same great chicken and sides. Deals are much better than KFC and Popeyes.Kid-friendliness: Kids love fried chicken and tenders.

I've never been inside. I always used their drive through. I can't speak for the restroom, I've never used it or if it's handicap accessible. I can say however, 4 out of 5 stars that there's handicap parking. And a lot of space in the parking lot to park vehicles. Though, the parking lot could stand a new pavement. I don't quite understand the ratings here. Churches is like McDonald's in Texas and I miss it dearly. So when I am in Vallejo, I always stop by and get Churches Chicken. The chicken by far is the best item on their menu. I always get it hot and fresh. Always enjoy all of the sides for the exception of their fries. If you can eat them hot they're pretty good but, they don't last long. Like if you pick them up to take them home they're not that good. The okra is always tasty and fresh. There was a line about 2:00 p.m. while I was there and the girl at the window was courteous and worked quickly to get my order. The only thing that I don't like is that they only serve sweet tea and they don't offer unsweetened tea. Again, I can live with this.

No spicy chicken unless I wanted to wait 20 minutes. Thankfully they had plenty of cold regular chicken ? also none of their famous purple sauce advertised on every wall. Terrible first impression for me.

I am just going to agree with the 2 stars average that already exist for this establishment. I mean it served the purpose- grab something cheap on the way home because it's been a long day! I used to eat a lot of chicken and fried chicken at that and in my younger years this chain feed me and my family ( extended more than my intimate family) many times and we tore it up! Churches used to be hot greasy goodness but now it is mediocre food and the only thing you really get hot is the fries or poppers( which I do eat as a bad treat) unless you just know when it's popping out the grease lol and we don't frequent this place at all. I do appreciate them being open when I needed something for my people to eat however the dogs probably ate as much as the humans lol.Enjoy

My best friend went for the bourbon and black pepper chicken, which was yummy. They also have honey butter biscuits. They are just opening up but the service is wonderful, I didn't mind eating in the car. Have fun

First, my order was all wrong. I wanted spicy and got original on both of the combos I ordered. I also got regular biscuits instead of the frosted honey butter biscuits. The chicken has no flavor or seasoning whatsoever. It’s basically fried flour coated chicken. The biscuits were also dry and stale.. butter and sauce couldn’t even help them.Wasn’t worth the 30 minutes drive. Wouldn’t go back.
