I go with my wife to this place many times a year! This is my favorite place to grab a bite. I go to this spot frequently. The food is fantastic, the crew is professional and the payment is affordable. I like eating in this place over a tasty dinner.
Been coming here for many years. It’s the real deal, they make you feel welcome here, like family. Our favorite is the cheese enchiladas with the best brown chili gravy and chili rellenos . Seriously , the best we have ever eaten! Yes, the location is right next door to a liquor store on Springs Rd. and the decor is dated and worn, (even duct tape on the booth seats) but if food and great service are what you are looking for, don’t miss out.
Grew up eating it in Richmond and same here in Vallejo. Same great taste. There ground beef tacos are the best comfort food. Now my 2yr old can kill 2 tacos, mild sauce and chips to himself. Our family still loves Gonzales.
