We had to go to Vallejo for an errand and decided to get lunch. Happily, we picked Good Day Cafe. \n\nIt is an old-school cafe that is open for breakfast and lunch only. I had the BLT on rye which was delicious. They know how to get the bacon just crispy enough. First time eating here this morning as we were passing through town and found this place on Yelp. Our breakfast was great! I loved the crab omelette and the bacon fried rice. My wife’s breakfast was very good also. She usually doesn’t like restaurants scrabbled eggs but these were excellent and so was her French toast. Staff were very friendly too! I just wish this place was in our hometown!

Let me preface by saying i think this place is pretty good, i only ordered the Serena omlette both times i was there, so i can't speak for the rest of the food. But, i found it to be very nice and well cooked, personally. However, i went here twice and had an issue with the service both times. The first time, they got my order wrong and gave me a meat side when i asked for a potato. Further, they did not give me the fruit bowl i ordered until i asked about it, but they were...
