Beer was just ok. This location is on the island under one of the old coal sheds. Interesting history and the views are nice. Worth a stop if you are nearby.

The food here is really good. They have excellent wings and brussel sprouts. There's a good selection of beers and friendly and attentive staff.

Three great selections of dark beer and an amazing Pastrami Sandwich with the best fries on the frickin planet. Friendly service and open and interactive experience with wonderful views of the waterfront and sunset. Don't miss out on this amazing experience!

Been here countless times since they've opened, but MIB has officially lost my business. I just can't over look the experience I had here recently. I was hanging with a friend and I recognized a few kids that I know. I went to talk to them, and in conversation I asked what they ordered. They mentioned that they didn't have enough for a burger, so they got a sandwich for the three of them to share. So I went up to order my food and decided to order a couple burgers to share with the kids. The cashier, an older woman with glasses, asked me if I was buying food for them. I told her that I was. She said "well do you see the predicament that puts me in?" I told her that I knew the kids, and I asked her to explain. No explanation given. I can't see the predicament when her only job is to place my order and take my payment. NOT to chastise and cast judgement on children when they're scraping together their loose dollars to order a simple menu item. They wanted to eat. They weren't stealing food, panhandling, or disrespecting anyone. I'll go out on a limb and say that even if they were doing those things, they still deserved to eat. They're hungry children - not monsters. If you can't comprehend the concept of feeding others from an altruistic perspective, at least look at it from a business lens. Treat children right, and you've built customer loyalty for years to come. This is especially true in Vallejo where word gets out quick and locals stick around. I'm not even saying to comp their meal or cover what they can't afford. I'm only saying that respect and dignity go a long way, even with little ones. MIB was designed for tourists and commuters riding the ferry. To the locals, poor folk, and children who love this place, let me break the news and say that they don't love u back.

Photo 1. Farmhouse ale $9 . tasty Photo 2 Wife wants to share. My answer is NO. Photo 3 Chicken sandwich, ceviche and fries plated beautifully. Photo 4 "I think this is good ??" Photo 5 "This Is Very Good!" $40 for the food and a soda. Not cheap but the first time I have had food that I saw on TV that looked and tasted so good in person. Photo 6 A nice area to go for a walk with a friend.

Pretty basic boring food. Description of mac and cheese sounded bomb. Reality was anything but.

THERE KOREAN LOADED FRIES ARE AMAZING. WOW. The pesto turkey sandwich was pretty meh but my god those Korean fries *chefs kiss* you have to try this.

For decades, people have wondered: who has the best fries? McDonalds or Wendy's? Burger King or KFC? Jack in the Box or In-N-Out? (No, just kidding, we all know it's not In-N-Out.) Mare Island Brewing settles this question once and for all: the best fries on the planet are right here. Crispy, flavorful, and a little addictive! If you're craving fries, this is the place.

Great bartenders, good food, chill vibes just steps from the bay. Really can't go wrong here. I've been here a couple of times and have left happy. If you're looking for a friendly place to have a beer or grab a snack or looking for a place to have a date night, this place will work!

I wish they had some vegetarian options besides just salad. The salads are fine but there is nothing if you want hot food... it would be nice if they would add a good veggie burger or something.
