Definitely fresh and well prepared Japanese food from a large menu. The wait staff was prompt and friendly. The sushi bar and interior atmosphere was impressive.

I recently dined at Matsuri and I have to say, the food was delicious, especially the sushi and the dragon roll. The flavors were fantastic, and the soup was wonderful as well. However, I encountered a concerning issue: I found a piece of wire in my chicken, which was quite alarming. It seemed like a piece of metal that could have come from kitchen equipment. This not only worried me but also caused some discomfort as I think I chipped my tooth on it. I wanted to bring this to the restaurant’s attention, and I hope they address it promptly. Overall, I’d love to see improvements to ensure safety and quality.

I took my hubby here for his birthday, so we went all out. The Flaming Dragon, The Hurricane, The Tsunami, The Jordan Special, Hakutsuru Sayuri Nigori, Maguro, Hamachi, Edamame, 3Sapporo and 2Sake. It was So Fresh, balanced, not over sauced. light and bright. The flavor was deliciose. The quality was better than any place I've tried in Napa or Marin. 10 out of 10!

Shockingly fast and incredibly solid. What a surprise we found here.
Just came from there. We waited about 10-15 minutes just to order take out without anyone saying anything to us, not even a hi, we’ll be right with you. Or give us a few minutes. I’m already knowing the food must be awesome or because V town doesn’t have many good Japanese restaurants…but the customer service is just not up to par. I really think staff could do much better. After waiting, they finally came up to us and said it’s about a 40 minute wait for dine in and for take out, it’s much longer. Like you can’t tell people that when they arrive rather than having them wait? I think while it is def busy up in there, you should let customers know immediately how long the wait is and give them a chance to decide if they wna wait because we were hungry! Not the greatest customer service. I could train them on a few things for sure!

My sister asked for a vegetable udon and tasted dirt in her broth while eating here. She got sick shortly after and ended up vomiting right after we left the establishment. I'm unsure if the food she ordered was what she actually requested or it was intentionally unclean and unwashed. She got poisoned by how this food was prepared. Please be careful when eating here.
