I have been going to Yo Sushi for 20 years now! Oh boy, ha...
I'm feeling critical today, but it's from a place of love. This has always been the sushi spot ever since there was only the Fairfield location, and having moved away from Vallejo, I haven't seen anything like it and often try to go when I stop by the city.
But I'm just pointing out here that, well... the dishes aren't looking too hot right now 😅 I just tried getting a sauce...

Recent visit, August 31st. Came in since we were in the area. Wife and I had decided to grab lunch since we were nearby. Found a piece of 12 inches or more of a piece of hair in my sushi after taking a bite of a piece of the roll. Pulled it out between my teeth like floss. Brought it back to the counter and showed them. At least they made it right by not charging me for the for lunch. I will at least give them credit for that ! I will have to think twice about going back.

We stopped by Yo Sushi and ordered the Crazy Monkey and Vallejo rolls — and wow, these rolls were massive! Definitely a great value for the size. The flavors were solid and satisfying, especially the Crazy Monkey, which had a good mix of savory and creamy textures.
We did come in close to their closing time, so the rice wasn’t as fresh as we would’ve liked — a little dry — but the overall taste still held up. A bonus:...
