Black&Blue Steakhouse

Tried this place out, but wouldn't choose to eat here again.

I never enjoy writing lower reviews, but this experience could have been a lot better.

We made a reservation for 5:30PM, we didn't leave the restaurant until almost 8PM.. due to the excruciatingly slow service.

At first things seemed to go really well.
But this was some of the worst service I've experienced, especially considering it wasn't very busy.

At one point - I waited 45 MINUTES for a second glass of prosecco.
I asked a busser as well as our server and still continued to wait.
Pretty unacceptable.

Our dessert took over 30 minutes - the carrot cake, which was more of an apple spice cake than a carrot cake.
It was delicious, but they surely could have let us know it'd be a wait since we had already been there for quite sometime.

Waters went empty without refills (not how you'd normally see it at a steakhouse)
We were hardly checked out throughout the dinner.

The food was decent overall, the crab cakes were presented beautifully and were tasty.
Interesting take on french onion soup.. but it wasnt bad.
The mac n cheese was quite dry, but fine.
I ordered my steak medium rare - it came out quite rare and cold.
They did offer to remake it, but I didn't want to wait that long.

At the end - a 20% gratuity for two people was automatically added.
Which, is a bit ridiculous overall for two people - since it's such a small line item that you probably wouldn't realize it since they still come out with the merchant copy that has the tip and total line.

We are always treated great when we dine at Black and Blue. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is very nice. The food is next level great...don't forget dessert!

The steaks were done to perfection. Loved the bread they offered. The staff and management were excellent and professional. Everything you expect from a place like this 🤤👍🥩

This is absolutely my favorite steakhouse. The ambiance, food, and service is impeccable. I always ask for Mel but any other server will go above and beyond for your guest experience. All the food is fresh, made to order, and the baked variety of bread is to die for. The desserts are delicious. The portions are big and definitely filling.

Great food as always. We thoroughly enjoyed the Prix Fixe menu, Filets were cooked perfect, and always good experience to be served by Luciano!

We were celebrating my husbands birthday. We had Star for our server and as always she was exceptional. Her friendliness and knowledge of the menu was great. The food was delicious soooo good. Overall we had an amazing experience. The entire staff was very attentive and we really enjoyed ourselves. See you again soon!

Having to walk through smoke-filled casino a huge negative but restaurant and food were exceptional. I'd drive an hour again to experience it all over again.

We greatly enjoyed our recent dining experience at Black and Blue. The food was delicious, and the chef went out of his/her way to accommodate our special request! Mel was our server, and as usual, he was topnotch! Looking forward to our next visit!

I appreciated that a birthday card was signed by everyone for my friend who joined me for dinner! I loved that. The food was amazing as always!

Put raspberry sorbet back in the baked Alaska, And change the Creme Brulé back to original w/a few berry's. best filet and salmon dishes ever last night. we miss Chris.

Best deal in town! The food is amazing!!! We had the Pork Chop and filet. Absolutely delicious. Best pork and the most tender filet I've ever eaten. The iced tea is fantastic served with fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. Coffee is fresh pressed and served with all the fixings. And the desert?? Cheesecake is heavenly and the giant German Chocolate cake??? Delicious! Overall great experience and reasonably priced with the 3 course meal for $75!!

Incomparable-“beyond comparison; matchless or unequaled” Ambiance-service-food-drinks -we never take for granted this wonderful experience. Seamless & enjoyable from the cocktails- appetizers to the entree-coffee & desserts Elegant but comfortable from the specialty O'Ryan stinger cocktail's to the perfected German Chocolate celebration cake to the wonderful team from check-in to Nick's wonderful delicious Chilean sea-bass Tim's always friendly perfect timing and now with Eli's promotion to manager we have the opportunity to see and talk to both of them. We want to continue to let all of them know that we appreciate the consistent wonderful food,service and drinks!

The Three course dinner for $79. was excellent . Service was great. Elli the manager was was very friendly, checking in to see how things are. Kudos to the staff.
