Black&Blue Steakhouse

This is our favorite restaurant/steak house and we have been to many high end places. Never disappoints

As always everything was exceptional. It is the perfect spot for a date, a celebration, a business meeting or just a wonderful meal.

We dined for my birthday, Mel our waiter was fabulous! The food was great as always. I highly recommend Black and Blue.

Another outstanding experience at this fantastic restaurant. Absolute perfection and cannot recommend highly enough! We enjoy the three course offering and find the filet exquisitely prepared. Do not miss the baked Alaska, it's out of this world!

The wife had the special course dinner and I had the surf and turf...fantastic! Our server, Luciano, made our dining experience all the more wonderful.

This is the BEST and MOST impressive Restaurant in San Diego County and I have been to a lot of them. The food was spectacular. There were 5 of us and we had the french onion soup, the fig salad and the wedge salad which were all excellent. We had the Filet Mignon, Salmon and Sea Bass. Excellent service. All exceptionally exquisite! Very reasonably priced. Can't wait to return!

Amazing! Everything. Not the first time here and yet they surprised me again..., I love this place. I wish we had one like this in LA...

Menu was varied to the delight of our entire party. Waiter was patient and did not rush us through ordering, eating etc. Food was wonderful. We will come again and bring other friends with us to this delightful restaurant.

Went for an anniversary dinner. Was greeted by Chris the manager, and led to a quiet corner booth by the hostess who was also very nice. The ambiance was wonderful. We were then introduced to Mel our server for the evening who made the entire evening just magical through his service, conversation, and attention to detail that I have not seen for a very long time in other establishments. The food was amazing, presentation was spectacular, and they even presented us a Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff and a monster of a piece of German chocolate cake that was so big, we had to take home (along with all the other food) which Mel personally packed and bagged. When receiving the bill, had to pay attention, in that 20% gratuity was already calculated in the final amount, though I was happy to give more on the additional gratuity section. Overall, probably the best steakhouses I've been to. In my opinion, totally surpasses Donovan's or Ruth's Chris by far. Thank you Chris, Mel, and everyone who made our 27 years together celebration an epic evening. We'll be talking about this for a long time for sure!

Thank you B&B for listening to your regulars and bringing back our favorites! From the cranberry walnut and cheese bread to the cheesecake and baked Alaska, the classics are once again on the menu! My wife and I ordered the three course dinner of Sea Bass and I substituted the prime rib for the filet cut and boy was everything perfectly prepared! We were delighted to have Star as our server and she was amazing as always! In fact all of Chris' Team members are always great! See y'all soon!

The food has always been excellent, but not this time. I had the pork chop again and it was superb; however, my wife had the daily special of mussels and she was disappointed. For the $70 3-course meal there was a small number of mussels, they were small and salty. We will be back but will stick with the regular menu. The service was first class as always, the salads and deserts were the best. The restaurant apologized for the mussels and voluntarily removed my wife's meal from the bill. We are looking forward to eating at Black & Blue the next time.
