Such a great addition to Valley Center! Skinny Jake Smokehouse was absolutely delicious. The pulled pork, mac & cheese, potato salad, and ribs were seriously out of this world! Everything we tried was so good.

Wear stretchy clothes. My goodness this is some delicious BBQ. I had already eaten a substantial amount of my plate before taking the picture.

Skinny Jake Smokehouse is a small business that packs a ton of flavor. The food is top tier smoking with great seasoning and a cool bark yard bbq feel. The atmosphere is great, the decor thoughtful and everything spotless clean. The staff is kind and genuine, and the music inside was literally my personal playlist. Food has Dino rib, pork ribs, cowboy ribs, brisket, chicken, beans, Mac, mac n cheese, cornbread and potato salad. The brisket is really good and exceptional, the cowboy ribs are second best, and the beans have an interesting zing that is addicting. Portion size was great and the beans are delicious. The mac and mac n cheese go with cornbread well. The chicken was sooo good. Prices can be expensive with waygu but not a rip off. This place is a must stop if you’re in the area and a great place to host a party. 5 star quality BBQ for Valley Center.
