All you can eat lobster?!! And crab legs?!! YES!!! great service. Friendly staff. Everything was delish! Crème brûlée could have used a tad more vanilla ! But still yummy

I had tryed to go in to the buffet they toll me that I had to be a blue card member to eat at the buffet. That's not fair to all the other people that wants to eat there.

Great food but the buffet does not accommodate to big groups. Disappointing because I’ve visited several times with my family and had the same issue every time of not being able to get a table. It’s very uncomfortable having to stand in front of the buffet and wait for a table. After speaking to the manager and employees the only thing they offer is to split up and sit in separate tables. I wouldn’t want to split from my family as we would all like to enjoy the buffet together.Hopefully this can be resolved.

This place should be called all you can eat, definitely not a buffet. The name is misleading. Don't like the pay $7 up front for the service because no one cares of you. Seems like chaos. Most of the dishes are not special.

What happened to the actual buffet at the Valley View? Post Covid they went down and now it's not even a buffet. It's a shame that they have to serve you instead of you being able to enjoy the buffet. Last time we went there was months ago, rude rude server, food was awful, I basically ate nothing but a few pieces of asparagus or whatever it was, service was horrible. We used to go there every weekend but no more. Won't go back and won't even bother. I'd rather eat at a restaurant than this buffet. The name is super misleading. It's not a buffet. Yikes

The food is great and the service is decent. We are black card members and eat here multiple times a week. We have never been more disappointed than tonight with Gee's service. She kept interrupting us when we were talking to our waiter, condescending, and raised her voice at us when we responded to the waiter instead of her. Do better.

Did not even get to eat. We arrived all the way from Arizona to be told you have to have a players club card to enjoy buffet. Will all good. We had a good drive and travel. Maybe next time but I doubt I will do the drive again just was not worth the travel and disappointment ?.The place has good reviews otherwise and everyone rates it as one of the best in San Diego.

I HATE THE WAIT TIMES!!!!Even when you get there early, right when they open, it's still a 2-3 hrs wait just to get to the line. THEN, you have to wait another hour in the next line. By then, it truly isn't healthy to eat - well after 8:30pm.The food is good but it isn't that good!! To endure the punishment of the smoke filled room is just unbearable! The tables are so close together, you can feel the air when someone coughs. It's hard to decipher if someone is coughing because they are sick or because they just enhaled a huge amount of cigarette smoke.Just thinking out loud - the non-smoking section should be next to the Buffet anyway!!! It's healthier for all parties involved!!!!!!

Been going here for years and they've been here long enough to be professional and not send food this way. Was so disappointed when I saw this . Seems to be bite marks on the corn. True or not shouldn't have left the kitchen to customers table. They also tried to hide it by placing it down maybe thinking it won't be noticeable. Hopefully it won't happen again. As I was told the chef was informed.

It's ok... Since COVID happened in 2020 this place became a place where you order and the staff will get the food for you. It can be very busy by the time you get your food you might not want what you ordered anymore or something else.Sometimes you will be forgotten when it's super busy and the food will come out before your drinks.There's only one dish I don't recommend ordering is the beef and asparagus lomein. Why?You get a lot of noodles with only 1 or 2 strips of tiny beef. And the asparagus It's you either get it or you do not at all or you get broccoli. I ordered that dish twice on Separate days to see if it was just a mistake, it truly is a huge mistake they shouldn't even have it on the menu.I think they need to have a paper comment card for guest opinions at the end of their meals about the dishes. Many old folks are not going to leave a comment on Google they're not very tech savvy. The staff working are friendly and always doing their best.

Went to eat there last week with family and would not go back. First, gratuity is mandatory and automatically included when you pay, which is fine. But after the whole dining experience, this buffet is not worth the price. The biggest gripe we had is the time it takes for servers to come back to take our orders. Their system is not good since you get a different server each time so you don't know who to call. It's just whoever that decides to serve you when they pass by. We request some melted butter and lemon for our lobsters and it took 30 whole minutes to get it leaving our lobsters cold. If this is the way they want to do it where customers don't serve themselves, they should have a better system where servers have their own section to take care of and have more servers available so that ordering don't take forever. Will not be coming back and would not recommend.
