I have eaten here many times I like the fact that the menu is evolving. I ordered the seafood carbonara, which in concept is a great idea, but could have used a few peas to make it a little more authentic, as well as the proper deli pasta was a little thick and got gummy towards the end the squid rings were a nice touch, but could have used some grilling or pan frying technique before adding to the pasta to bring another texture note besides the bacon crumbles scallops in this dish might work as well I loved the wine flight as well not a big fan of the Ponzo oyster shooter with sake next time I'll try it without the sake overall great to visit here again looking forward to my next dinner at Salt&Fin.
To start off the hostesses were great, my waitress Gina was great and very attentive. I first ordered a caddie margarita wish was excellent, I ordered the filet and lobster plate with mash potatoes, carrots and asparagus absolutely delicious. Before that I order the clam chowder what tasted great but little did I know at the time it was toxic. Within an hour it blew my whole meal through and was up most of the night. It really disappointed me because it was my Diamond special meal. Sorry, most of the time I have eaten at Harrahs with no problem for the last ten years. This was a really a shock. I know they are closing the 12th of October to put in a new restaurant I would hold off until the new one opened. P.S. My server Gina was outstanding and would keep her around for sure.
The soups both the clam chowder and the bisque were amazing. I felt 70.00 for a small steak and a small lobster tail with no sides wasn't worth the money. I get Hell's Kitchen charges for sides but that's a highly rated restaurant. Needless to say in the future we would just get the soup and break due to the small portions for just a steak and lobster tail.
As soon as we arrived we were seated at a large roomy both. We had water served to us in a nice glass with ice without someone asking g us what type of water we wanted to purchase. It was a nice change from the prior night at the other restaurant at the casino. The server was very helpful with answering our questions regarding some of the dishes being served, and with her expertise, we were able to make the proper decision for our meals. Once served with a wonderful presentation, she had the sushi chef come to tell us more about our dish. The food, service, and atmosphere were top-notch. We will definitely recommend everyone coming to the casino to dine at Salt & Fish over the restaurant that is located there. Great experience, indeed. We are looking forward to coming back.
We've been dining at Salt & Fin and we always had a good experience from the server to the staff. They are all very friendly, professional and attentive. We never had a bad meal. Food is always good!
Not sure how someone screws up a grilled cheese sandwich or bisquits/gravy but this place figured it out.
Should close it down and put something better there. We will never eat at this place again.

The cafe is in Pala Casino. It takes a minute to get your food, they are usually busy, but it's always been good. Mostly sandwiches or burgers. The fries are good.

Well. My Girlfriend Julie & I Love Harrah's Resort Southern California. My Parents Are Dancing In Two Stepping. & Julie & I Love To Swim Together At Harrah's Hotel.
We decided to try it again after reading reviews that they've done some updates and change things. To us it's still the same my husband got the classic breakfast his was good but as you can see from the picture of the toast is really burned. I got the grilled cheese sandwich added bacon absolutely horrible you could tell from the pictures that the cheese is not melted at all the Bacon's not cooked enough cuz it has all these stringy fat things in it. And what made it worse is these gorgeous looking french fries got placed in front of me that were Stone Cold

Hungry from gambling or being at the pool? This cafe is located inside the Harrahs SoCal resort. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. You have a lot of choices for you to sit down and enjoy. Prices are a bit expensive, so make sure you sign up for awards card to get a discount or use your casino points. There is no kids menu, but there is plenty of stuff to enjoy. it’s not the greatest food here at the resort, but it will do. The staff is amazing.

$20 burger but they charge for ranch seriously. The trader tots where awful and way too dry.
Well. My Girlfriend Julie & I Love To Sleep At Harrah's Southern California. & Things To Do: Seaworld San Diego, San Diego Zoo, & San Diego Zoo Safari Park
Good food , cool service , a robot dropped off our food to table!
I had a great experience Saturday, will go again to there to eat
My wife and I just had the best time. I suggest any of the steaks or burgers are great. They hand grind the beef and press their patties fresh every other day. And the banana split is brulee'ed and the 7 layered chocolate cake is the best. The ice cream is real vanilla bean and dark chocolate. Just super quality and unexpected. The Chef here takes it to the next level.
