Despite being a regular customer, I stopped in today to order a cup of coffee. 1 employee catted it up with a customer at the window, while another one who apparently likes to only be rude just stood there. When I was finally able to place my order I told them I would run over to the smoke shop while they made it, which I did and they did... nothing. Day-O Espresso offers a yummy menu with a variety of coffee, tea, and frappés. They serve handheld foods like bagels and muffins. Customers can enjoy a coconut cream frappé with two shots of espresso and coconut milk, and the café provides milk and milk substitutes in four sizes.
Despite being a rural town coffee shop, the coffee is amazing, even better than some city cafés. The staff, particularly a young woman working solo during a very busy morning, were praised for their hard work, kindness, and professionalism in managing the pace.
While the smoothies are a bit too sweet for some customers' tastes, the refreshers, like the cucumber mint and watermelon mint, are a hit. The service is friendly, though the orders have been occasionally mixed up, leading to customers trying and enjoying new items.
