Iron Skillet Cafe, formerly known as Dee Dee's Cafe, is a solid choice for breakfast or lunch in Valley Springs. This perfect small town diner offers classic diner breakfast the way it’s meant to be done, with tasty, affordable, and amazing food. The menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, omelets, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and hearty steak and eggs. For lunch, options like broccoli cheese soup and a generous Philly cheese steak sandwich are delicious. The clean and traditional diner decor provides a comfortable setting. The staff is friendly, efficient, nice, and amazing, providing outstanding service. This little cafe can have full seating, especially on weekends, but it is worth the wait. It is a definite hidden gem and a pleasant experience that does not hurt the wallet.
