Stopped by Bene Chicken Café inside Greenland Market, and I’ve got to say, the Bene Sandwich hit the spot! The fried chicken was a perfect balance of moist and crispy, bursting with savory flavor. The sauce added a great kick, unlocking all the flavors in the sandwich. The bun was soft and chewy, holding everything together beautifully. The fresh veggies inside added a nice crunch that kept things interesting.

Shoutout to Alex, the owner—he’s awesome and really knows how to put together a great sandwich. At $10.99, this sandwich was a steal, leaving me full and satisfied. If you’re nearby, do yourself a favor and grab one!

IMO, the BEST korean-style fried chicken in the san fernando valley. maybe even in socal. i'm a big fan of the poppers, specifically, and have tried all their flavors. but the garlic is a standout. always flavorful and made fresh. meat is never dry. the owner is always so kind. 10/10 experience all around.

Been stopping in here for a few years. It is inside the Greenland Market. The owner is wonderful & has a fun, infectious energy... but actually everyone else who works here is always very nice as well.Never had anything bad from here. The drinks, chicken, chips, dogs, rice cakes, everything has been yummy (never tried the sandwiches but judging from my experiences here, i would assume they're just as good). Doesn't take too long to get your food, but as everything is made fresh, it might be 5-15 minutes depending on what you order. Smart to put in an order first, then do some grocery shopping as you wait ?You can't go wrong with a yuzu slushie, some rice cakes and a half-n-half noodle dog. I sprinkle a sugar packet on my noodle dog - I'd highly recommend trying that if you haven't! ❤️

Parking: Plenty of free parking at Greenland market.... but just beware of snatch thieves. Lol

Amazing Korean fried chicken spot. Really crispy, perfectly done house made sauce. They got Korean corn dogs too. Really good quality ingredients in everything. Awesome you can get food like this outside of K town.

This was a solid chicken wing. Nice and meaty , a little over sauced, but good…. The soy garlic is the way to go….. wish this was a stand alone restaurant instead of in a market with limited seating.

Wow! My brother in law picked up some wings from this place and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The chicken is straight fire and the sauces are next level. I’ll eat at this place every time I’m back visiting the area. Never change Bene!

Best korean fried chicken in La. Honestly better than the places I’ve been to in Korea Town. The Soy Garlic goes crazy. This is fs the spot to go to if your in the valley. Most lovely owner as well, always such a pleasure to see him.
