Bubbles Bakery hires temporary employees from BARON HR. The HR manager at Bubbles Bakery is prejudice, she only hires Mexicans and makes it very clear.
YOU BE THE JUDGE: Baron HR sent 3 employees over to work at Bubbles Bakery. No experience was needed, they just needed 3 workers. They sent 2 Mexicans and 1 African American. All three individuals arrived in this order 1 Mexican, 1 African American, 1 Mexican. The HR Manager when she arrived ask only the African American what are you doing here? He replied I'm here to work, she replied from where, he replied from Baron HR, she got on the phone and told Baron HR she only asked for 2 individuals not 3 and started speaking in Spanish. Afterwards she took the 2 Mexicans and told the African American that Baron HR make a mistake.
I called to follow up and of course Baron HR claimed he was sent by accident to the company, but the HR Manager said a couple of other things which made it very clear she didn't want to hire this African American as an employee.
I called back and asked for her name, but the receptionist refused to state her name or provide any information.
I bet my life that they do not have any African American's working in Van Nuys for Bubbles Baking Company and never will until that HR Manager is gone.
