I had to edit my review since I posted it a few years ago because I had loved this restaurant until today. I ordered The Cup to go and it seemed like they made it with pure fish remains, they were huge pieces of fish with raw nerve because they couldn't be tanned because they were so big, I really felt like I was eating only raw fish. I had to start cutting it into squares. Besides, the shrimp they add tasted like pure tap water, as if they were just boiled like that in tap water without seasoning or anything. I feel like they take advantage of those who order takeout because we don't realize the quality until we sit down to eat at home. I didn't enjoy it at all, very expensive for what it was, I threw $30 in the trash. ?

We order 4 octopus orders to go. Got servers 2 whole and 1 cut in half and claimed that it was 4. Food has always been good, but service has always been bad. Unfortunately, I think this will be the last time I'm visiting this place. There is Definitely other peruvian places in the area with better service.

I like the flavor that chios has, I ordered a fish ceviche because I don't really like seafood, I loved it although the prices have increased a lot one thinks I liked it, I go to chios which is in Sepulveda, I don't like the one It's in van nuys, on the receipt is the portion that you have to leave, I don't know if it's legal because in other restaurants they don't ask for a portion, it's voluntary.Parking: The parking is terrible, it's a problem to park and you can't park outside because they won't let you, it's in red because the buses and bicycles pass and you can't park.

I've gone to this location a couple of times alreadt throughout the years, i asked for the same plate i always asked for (the fettuccini two pastas with steak) last time i went they put chunks of steak this time it looked like thin slices of steak and they barely put any. Not to mention they forgot our breaded milanesa we ordered for our kids and brought it one everyone was halfway done eating. Also, THEY ARE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. Not worth it. Not even in a fancy restaurant do we pay that much. Not going there again idk if all the Chios locations are that overpriced but this location we will not be going to again.

I WOULD NOT GO BACK!! WE ORDERED PAPAS A LA HANCAINA, THE LIGHT SAUCE WAS LIKE IT DID NOT EXIST WITHOUT SALT WITHOUT THE SPICY WHICH CHARACTERIZES THE SAUCE. I ORDERED RICE WITH SEAFOOD, THE RICE LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN MADE WITH A BOX OF YELLOW RICE FROM THE SUPERMARKET. 2 SHRIMP 2 PIECES OF CALAMARI 1 MUSSELS AND SOME TINY OCTOPUS TENTACLES. THE PLACE IS VERY ABANDONED, WE ARE IN WINTER AND WE HAD TO RESOURCE TO WEARING JACKETS BECAUSE OF THE ASIA COLD. A SHAME I WENT ON ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY AND THE TRUTH IS THAT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OTHER YEARS.

Deserves zero star this is what a $26 plate looks like Basic premade, frozen french fries, and bland microwaved, white rice This is a lomo saltado plate I DO NOT recommend this restaurant. Tried to give them a second try and it seems they've gotten worse. Take your money elsewhere. overpriced and just a hype. this order comes with bread and I had to tell the lady after checking both orders where my bread was, then she got some plain pizza looking roll no sauces or anything ugh garbage this is not Peruvian food
