Just a note. If you don’t order a tray of catered ddukbokgi, and just order an à la carte from the menu, it will have no broth, zero vegetables, or fish cake. It will just be some rice cakes in gochujang sauce sprinkled with sesame. And no, they don’t warn you in advance.
I complained, and they corrected my order for me, but just know as a default, if you’re expecting traditional ddukbokgi off the non-catering menu, you won’t get it. You’re getting rice cakes stir fried in gochujang sauce. It is overly doughy and sweet and I don’t recommend it.
If you want traditional dukkbokgi, you’ll have to order from the catering menu.
I’ve ordered the catered version before for church, and they do a good job with it. I’m glad they were willing to adjust my order.
Their banchan is made fresh and has a longer shelf life than conventional market banchan. It’s also less salty or spicy, made by actual Korean women cooks.

We’ve been enjoying their food for over 20 years! I live out of state now, but still eat here whenever I’m in town. Hats off to the owner for keeping the authentic taste.

They have Bene Chicken's menu. Best fried chicken with many sauces. Best is chilli garlic. Eat it with rice, sprinkle some of that shredded seaweed on top and your set.

Good Korean restaurant.
Great home cooking
Been visiting for 20 years. Taste and flavor are always on point! Friendly service, you won't get unless you get the owner herself. But the food is always so friggin delicious, that I don't care about friendliness. It's not full service anyway, and the food comes out quickly. And, the price is so reasonable - better than reasonable. I could almost never go to any other restaurants in the same plaza because this place is so much more superior.
Love this little snack corner. Kimchi stew is a hit! Kimchi soup is the bestest in LA!!!
