Just the best. We walk inside and the aroma from the kitchen assured me that I’d have a great experience. The server Mohamed was happy to answer questions and recommend dishes. We ordered 5 mackerel croquettes as an appetizer. My partner ordered deviled chicken and I ordered shrimp lamprais. And we got the watalappam for dessert. I ordered ginger chai and she got the kurrypinch iced coffee for drinks. Everything was so flavorful and I had to pause to savor the lamprais. Obviously...
The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was perfectly prepared, tasty, and beautifully presented. The servers were attentive and had big smiles, and the chef/owner made delicious food. Those battered calamari were still.…..mouthwatering.
Absolutely fantastic meal! Bold flavors, spice level on point. If you go on the weekend, order the Lamprais with the Ambul Thiyal Curry. (And don't pass on dessert!) I had read prior reviews - I did not experience any issues with service or timing of food coming out. Gabriel was a gem and recommended a excellent wine to pair with all of the different flavors.
