I had no idea that we had such a delicious Colombian spot here in Van Nuys! After doing some research, I found a TikTok that mentioned Macondo Kitchen. I decided to take my family to try it out. We tried the beef and cheese empanadas, the choclo quesos, a traditional plate, and their malt drinks. The service was lovely and the food was delicious. They have a store near their restaurant as well filled with such beautiful decorations and things to buy. Will definitely be returning!

La comida es excelente, pero lastimosamente fuimos atendidos por una joven en la caja a la cual le costó resolver una solicitud de consumir una avena que fue comprada en su tienda aliada pidiéndonos incluso que saliéramos del lugar por qué no podíamos consumir la soda colombiana y la avena comprada en su tienda contigua. No está bien. Lástima
