Ok, let me be real for a second here...I have been in LA for about 16 years. This is hands down the best food I have ever had in LA. The shrimp, chicken, ribs, red beans, corn bread,fries..its was all slamming!!!

For my first time dining here, I was much more impressed compared to the other southern styled places in Socal I've been to recently. Moving from the south has left me craving southern food and I can gladly say this filled the void nicely. As for everything else there were no real complaints, the server was very attentive to us and the restaurant itself was pleasant. The only possible thing I can nitpick on is the fact refills weren't free but other than that everything...
