Pao's Pastries & Cafe is a charming local establishment offering a peaceful dining experience, both indoors and outdoors. The menu features tempting options such as Pique a lo Macho, Silpancho, and Salteñas. Customers have praised the juicy and flavorful fillings of the Salteñas, especially the chicken and beef varieties, as well as their flaky, buttery crust. Fresh dough is made on-site, contributing to the enticing aroma and ambiance of the cafe. Portion sizes are generous, often enough to feed multiple people. Prices are reasonable, with specials like the 2 for $8 Salteña deal and a $5 breakfast special that includes a free coffee. The staff is friendly and attentive, and while the restaurant is small, it creates a cozy atmosphere. This makes it an ideal spot for a relaxing break or a satisfying meal. Many customers recommend trying the mochochinchi, and some have mentioned that the soup mani is delicious with its creamy base and potatoes.
