He was kind, welcoming, and went out of his way to make sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. “Small simple Japanese Ramen and Poke! Very tasty! My husband really enjoyed #3 Ramen with black garlic oil and I had the Citurs Salmon Poke. Also very tasty. Reminded me of the small Ramen stops in Japan. A place to grab a quick tasty lunch. Seating is little stools with counters.“

“I’m pretty picky about poke, and 8oz Poke in Studio City never misses. The fish is consistently fresh, the ingredients are high quality, and everything tastes clean and well-balanced. The sauces are a standout—clearly made by someone who really understands flavor.

If you’re not sure what to get: try salmon + tuna over half rice/half greens with avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, crispy onions, and spicy mayo + ponzu. It’s my go-to and it’s been perfect every time.“

“Affordable prices for quality ingredients and good portion sizes. Whether I order a poke bowl or hand rolls, I always get their spicy tuna (which is actually spicy) and their ahi tuna. I really like their bulgogi roll as well but they’re very skimpy on the sauce which is alway a little disappointing (but clearly doesn’t stop me from ordering it again). I tried their shrimp tempura roll tonight and it is fine, nothing special. Not really a sit-down place but the staff is always nice when I pick up my orders.“

It’s a pick your base (rice, veggies, etc) then select your protein with sides such cucumbers, pickled radish plus plus this and that.. sauces and sesame seeds or fried onions. Staff was pleasant and food was ready quick. It’s a tiny place with a small seating area but it’s just what I was looking for but didn’t know it 😋. I plan to go back whenever I’m back in Burbank. Oh I forgot to mention they have nori items with shrimp or kimchi or salmon something something. I ordered the shrimp tempura and it was good. I think I ordered too much food but now I know.“
