“A bit off the beaten path, but delicious acai bowls are available here. I had the chocolate dream (which comes with chocolate chips!) while my friend had the makai bowl. You pick between a regular or large size. We came here after eating sushi for lunch so we were a bit peckish, but eating the regular size brought us over the edge. There were some indoor tables available and a lot more outdoor seating. The outdoor seating was super pleasant and there was a fountain that added to a soothing environment. Free parking. Credit cards accepted. They have smoothies available as well.“

“Worth the flight and drive out. The closest thing to Hawaiian poke (if you’ve had it before). Quality of the fish is awesome, ingredients super fresh, service amazing. Quantity is bountiful. Not a lot of space to sit and eat there but it’s perfect for a car picnic or drive it down to the beach.“

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. “First time here. Cashier was super nice and patient with me as there are so many options and I’m super indecisive haha. Place is clean and comfortable. They also have a singles board in case you’re looking for love haha. And you get a discount if you’re a student. Makes me wanna go back to school! Ha. Definitely will be back.“

Honestly didn’t even knew it existed if I didn’t walk by there and see the small sign on the window. 10/10 poke, flavor was great and not overbearing with ingredients. Only downside was the Mac I got on the side wasn’t that great; about a 3/10 for me. Overall was a great experience, will be returning for sure.“

I stopped in for a late lunch and built my own bowl with spicy tuna, bamboo rice, avocado, pickled shiitake mushrooms, crispy onions, and their creamy togarashi sauce, and every bite was spot-on. “This is by far my favorite poke on the mainland. I’ve had a lot of poke but after having sea salt I don’t even bother trying anything else. They have amazing rice bases and great variety of fish and sauces. Could not recommend it enough 10/10

Delicious, and the entire team is very friendly and patient with ordering, particularly when it's a new biz with new and unfamiliar food items.
Best part, there's no dairy or lactose! 🙏 😇 Over 60% of American adults over 30 yo have some form of this, so this biz is ahead of their time with nutritious foods like this. The red tea is incredible, tropical and floral.

“Honu Poke & Grill truly delivers on all fronts! We ventured outside the usual South Bay bubble—a 20-minute drive that was absolutely worth every minute. We indulged in the fantastic barbecue ribs, which were perfectly fall-off-the-bone tender. Paired with their incredible poke and generous portions of teriyaki chicken and rice, plus a side of mac salad, we left completely satisfied and already planning our next trip!“

“Delicious food that keeps me coming back! My personal go tos are the salmon poke and chicken katsu bowl; I think you get the most bang for your buck getting either one of those. Chill atmosphere with a nice and varied music playlist in the background. It gets fairly busy during the 12 PM lunch rush, but nothing too crazy for an unreasonable wait time. 5/5 stars!“

“My first time trying this location, it was recommended to me and it’s good enough to post a review about it. The cashier is super friendly and helpful. She walked me through the process of ordering a sushi burrito. Taste was 10/10, quality was just as good and they’re handmade after you order so you do have to wait like 15min but so worth it. I got the ahi tuna and shrimp tempura with masago, green onion, and imitation crab. Second one was for my fiancé and he couldn’t get enough. Definitely stopping by next time I’m in the area.“

“I love the poke here. They have several options a for protein and veggies and their sauces are delicious! I always get the medium bowl with brown rice and the #6 sauce. Pictured here is how I mix it up. I was too hungry and I started eating before I thought to take a picture. The young ladies working there are very sweet as well.“

“This place kind of shocked me - extremely high quality sushi at really affordable prices. This is as good as high end sushi I've eaten elsewhere. Zero atmosphere, but plenty of seating, because it's in a huge mall food court. So good I was texting people about it 😂 I got a simple 8-piece maki for $7, and it came with a large miso soup for free!“

“This place is my togo place for poke bowl, although they have other stuff too like sushi and teriyaki. Located at Santa Monica blvd and Granville Ave. This place has no table service, I usually order at screen and sit or bring togo. Food is amazing and the inside is also clean too.“

“My first time here because I just so happened to be in the area. I had the brisket & tendon phó. It was delicious. It had so much tendon and I loved it. Great flavor and freshness. I read some of the reviews that were negative. My experience was nothing but positive. I like to eat at mom and pop restaurants. The service was polite and attentive. Give this establishment a try. “I love this place. I go almost at least once a week. The employees are wonderful. I have never had a bad or sad poke bowl. Everything is fresh. Trying to stay on the healthy side, I order small scoop of rice and all the sides they offer except for wasabi. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, but I have always restrain from getting the large. Two scoops of protein, which consist of tuna and salmon. A lovely alternative to fast foods. I highly recommend Mono Poke!“
