“Had dinner here yesterday with my Mum and this place certainly ticked all the right boxes, if you’re looking for a healthy spot along the Venice beach broadwalk this is the place to go. The food was so fresh, clean and tasty and the portions perfect. Thanks to the wonderful owner for a great meal it was a pleasure to meet you and taste your lovely food. We had the Ceviche bowl and Asian Bowl. Highly recommend.“

“We got the Vegan Beef Tacos and they were so good we ordered some more to go. They're pricey but worth it and the Vegan menu is amazing. We were here on vacation and this was by far some of the best vegan food I've eaten. We also got the Vegan teriyaki chicken and veggies.. everything was delicious“

My only suggestion would be to make the ordering process a little clearer. Since there’s usually a line, having a menu posted outside would let people decide while waiting. It would also be helpful to clearly explain what comes with each bowl (rice, 2 proteins, 2 sides, etc.), since the current board can be a little confusing.

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. “Ahipoki in Hawthorne has some of the friendliest service I’ve had at a poke spot. Ali was super helpful and welcoming, helped me put together my bowl, and made the whole experience easy. He was handling the cashier, making bowls, keeping everything clean, and still had a great attitude the whole time. He’s funny, easy to talk to, and genuinely seems like he cares about customers having a good experience. The food was fresh and delicious too. “Beautifully designed space and fresh healthy ingredients! As a vegan I appreciate the yummy, healthy (not fried) tofu and all the veggie options! Easy pickup near my gym so will be back for sure on days when I’m too time crunched to cook! Ordered for pick up, it was ready very fast, but stayed to eat at the lovely tables by the windows. You could also sit outside on the nice street tables.“

“Food was fresh and delicious! It was very filling and not heavy. I appreciate the portions and presentation. The ladies were very kind and I appreciate the system of checking off everything you want. We took our own drinks and no issues there. Restaurant is on the smaller side (not many tables) but great if it's slow and/or if you want to pick up and eat at home or at a park. A little pricey but worth it!“

“It was our first time trying Ramen and the cashier was awesome enough to help us choose. We chose the spicy ramen and it was not disappointing! It was just enough spice to make it flavorful. And it was enough to fill the tummies of two ladies and then some. I was kinda bummed that there isn't much of a varieties when it comes to ordering. Only about 4 to 5 options.“

“Affordable prices for quality ingredients and good portion sizes. Whether I order a poke bowl or hand rolls, I always get their spicy tuna (which is actually spicy) and their ahi tuna. I really like their bulgogi roll as well but they’re very skimpy on the sauce which is alway a little disappointing (but clearly doesn’t stop me from ordering it again). I tried their shrimp tempura roll tonight and it is fine, nothing special. Not really a sit-down place but the staff is always nice when I pick up my orders.“

“I love this place. I go almost at least once a week. The employees are wonderful. I have never had a bad or sad poke bowl. Everything is fresh. Trying to stay on the healthy side, I order small scoop of rice and all the sides they offer except for wasabi. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, but I have always restrain from getting the large. Two scoops of protein, which consist of tuna and salmon. A lovely alternative to fast foods. I highly recommend Mono Poke!“

“The rice was overcooked. The setting is beautiful, though—despite the limited selection, they even charge extra for mango, which is something I’ve never encountered before. All in all, it wasn't bad; the atmosphere is a huge plus, so I’m giving it a 4. The food itself is 3-star quality.“
