If you can't get to SGV, where the quality and selection of Chinese food is incredible, Sam Woo is a great valley option. Standouts are their BBQ meats; roast duck, roast pork , char siu. Good selections of all noodle dishes; chow menial, Lo Meir, chow fun. Then like most Chinese restaurants hundreds of options. The key here is their consistent authentic dishes. Casual and good service.

Want to just say this is our go-to Chinese food here in the Valley. There's a lot of Chinese restaurants but this is the most consistent one for us. Depending on the time you go sometimes you have to wait but since this is 15 mins away from us we typically get there before the crowd. For a party of 4 we asked for a big table because we tend to always order a lot (take out Chinese ) so we were seated at the big round table. You can order half duck here (but not Peking style for half), crispy noodles, whole fried sole fish and crispy pork chop are our usual order. I tried their soup noodle dishes - they're also good. Honestly never ordered anything that I didn't personally like. Service is good - very attentive and they have enough servers even if they're at full capacity. If you're not familiar with the area - parking can be tough because they're next to 99 ranch market and also another good Pho restaurant (pho so) but you'll find a spot especially if you go towards the victory side of that area. To go or dine in - this is always a good choice this side of town.

This review is for their Togo barbecue station. I got a half salty chicken for $13.63 that was juicy and came with ginger scallion sauce. It was so tasty and so nostalgic for me - who was born in Hong Kong. Of course American chicken cannot compare to the HK ones but it was pretty darn close in terms flavor and chicken was juicy enough! Can't really beat this value in 2024 in my opinion!

The clams were so tasty. We had the seafood with soft noodles. They were tasty. The food came out quick. The place was bustling with energy. We have gone here for many years, since living on SoCal.

Nice to have a go to place where you know the quality of the food and service level is as expected. Came here for a CNY lunch with the in-laws. Tight space, with a huge take out line for their BBQ meats and other dishes. If you're in the neighborhood and craving Chinese food, this hits the spot.

By far the best Chinese food that I have ever had. You know it’s good when you see how many Asians eat there. Portions are smaller. Prices are higher. But they good news is they finally they take credit cards!Dietary restrictions: Can be a little high in sodium. So ask for no MSG if it bothers you. Or just drink lots of water. ?

Incredible!! The food we had at this Chinese-Mandarin restaurant is a bomb!! The atmosphere looks super!! The service is fantastic!! I really like it!! First we started-off a hot tea. Warm & ready. So easy to drink. Later had a water. However the price is expensive than I expected!! So packed up; so many customers visiting to Sam Woo Village restaurant. The employees were friendly said thank you! Come early before 11am take a seat immediately before the more customers arrives!! Super busy!! Full as always!! I definitely come back again!! Won’t regret it!!
