This is my first time trying Nigerian food and I was very pleasantly surprised. Egusi and pounded yam with jollof rice. A bit expensive on paper, but very hearty and had enough leftovers for another meal, so not too bad and understandable considering there are no other Nigerian places in the valley. The egusi was delicious and full of flavor and the fufu compliments it very well. The jollof rice is solid, but is better when paired with something else. The people were very nice...
I prob should have read the reviews. I live in the Valley and wanted something closer so I cheated on Aduke. Big mistake. I ordered jolloff rice with goat meat and they gave me 3 tiny pieces of meat. Not for 26.00. Smh. She was very nice but she was wrong for this small meat. Rice ok. I would have wanted to taste some spice. Added okra. Sad it didn't work out. Hate driving all the way to Inglewood for good African food.
