9 am on a Monday. Store was empty. They had already run out?

I prefer bluestar donuts over all the other newbies because of the flavors and texture and they are always fresh and not oily tasting. I havent been in a while but will be back soon. Also the workers are super sweet.

By far the most underrated donuts in LA! Fluffy unique flavors. Only thing is they don't offer any allergen friendly donuts but I guess it's worth it cuz they're so good

Some are kinda oily but love their donuts! Poppy lemon is my favorite. Tiny shop with no front seating.

Absolutely excellent donuts. I tried the Valhrona chocolate crunch, and I must that it's the first time in my trip in the US that I tasted a donut with an icing that actually tastes like good chocolate. Perfect for your chocolate and/or donut craving. However -1 star for the price, more than 5$ for a donut is too much on the expensive side to be forgiven by the good taste.

This was a complete let down Over priced and not worth the money The berry doughnut lack flavor and was chewy in texture Also the apple fritter tough to chewy.

Stumbled upon this place while roaming around Abbot Kinney. Glad we stopped by!! Got their chocolate old fashioned donut and it was so damn good I also really liked their nitro cold brew. I drink my coffee black and usually cold brews are so acidic but this one was perfectly balanced. Downside is there's no restroom (old man problems) so kinda hard to stay and people watch while enjoying your coffee. It's in a perfect spot to people watch.

Overly expensive, over rated donuts. Just go to Krispy Kream, that's where Blue Star took their ideas from anyway.

Blue Star has some really cool donuts that pair fruit flavors with different herbs and spices. Favorites are Raspberry Rosemary Old Fashioned and the Blueberry Bourbon Basil. Apple Cider Fritter is awesome too, and I don't see it out too often, so try to get one if you do!

Super yummy gourmet donuts! I personally am a maple bar girl and this place does it over the top! My son tried the chocolate candy cane, also very tasty. Enjoying the AK people watching -- unbrushed hair, slippers, unthreaded faces, no fake lashes, simply just old school.

Great Great vegan donuts! I wish there is more kinds vegan because all we got was great! Nice service too. My favorite is the apple-brandy vegan donut, so fluffy yet crispy and really tasty glaze. The Mexican chocolate vegan donut is greatly decadent and a lot about chocolate. The orange vegan one is good too.
