I ordered the 9 grain pancakes, beacon , and a double expresso for brunch. The pancakes were excellent. The beacon 90% fat, and I never received my double expresso. Waiter never came by to check. Not crowed so that is no excuse. Overall, food is good, but not a 9 out of 10 as some rate it.
i love gjelina; and have been a loyal visitor, but the service was mediocre at best. basically ignored the whole night. food was good, but lacked flavor. a little disappointed but think it might've been an off night.
We came out for a nice brunch but were disappointed. The food had items like herbs missing, the drinks menu was limited with no decaf coffee and our waitress seemed totally disinterested. It's definitely the worst service we experienced on our trip to California! That said, the buckwheat and ricotta pancake were delicious
