“It's a tragedy that Manzke is closing at the end of February. A restaurant this good shouldn't have to close. Everything is fantastic. The food is rich in flavor with a cocktail and wine list as close to perfection as possible. I'd encourage anyone who loves fine dining to enjoy Manzke while you can. Oh, and the butter is heavenly...“
“I think this is about the best French restaurant in California or perhaps the US. This was not the intended destination, but my friend and I were extremely glad that we went, since we're Francophiles!! They feature classically French dishes, but also Italian, making it a bit of fusion cuisine. Okay, a mojito is not French, but it was one of the best I have had in a very long time! I stuck to French cuisine. Started with soup a l'onion. Delicious! A lot of gruyere and the right amount of onions, bread and soup. Next were the escargots in olive oil with a lot of garlic! Yum! Main course was the mussels! Those had to be the largest, most succulent mussels I have ever had! They came with fries, but you really didn't need them. I brought them home. Last was the Napoleon or mille feuille. Creamy! There were three layers: one with just the cream, second with strawberries, and the last with nuts. Wow! Never had one like that! The proprietor was very kind. He brought us our drinks and was very kind when we spoke to him in French. Wait staff was very courteous and we felt no pressure to eat and leave. To show how good this place was, we ended up sitting next to a well known French actor. My friend recognized him first. They say that if people of the same nationality as the restaurant dine there, it's usually a compliment to the restaurant and a testament of the food. Well, that may be so, but we Francophiles will definitely be dining again at this restaurant! Merci beaucoup!“
“Very eclectic feel to the menu and man was it hard to pick! Judging on how amazing the meal was that I picked, I’m sure anything I would’ve got would’ve been just as fantastic. Would whole heartedly recommend and will absolutely be going back!“
“The Little Door in Los Angeles is a hidden gem! The ambiance is enchanting, and the Bottled Spicy Margarita is a must-try. The menu offers a delightful fusion of flavors, and the service is exceptional. A perfect spot for a romantic evening or a cozy gathering with friends.“
“It was an easy store to enter. The staff was very responsive and explained the Greek cuisine for the first time in an easy-to-understand manner, and we had fun and enjoyed the delicious food. As a Japanese person, this was my first time trying all of these dishes, and I was surprised at how delicious they were. I'm sure you'll be satisfied no matter what you order. The seafood dishes were especially great. I heard that they also offer barbecue on the weekends, so I would definitely like to visit.I am grateful to the owner for speaking to me and explaining the dishes thoroughly.“
“We booked Olivetta for an early Valentine’s Day dinner, based on its popularity and reputation. I would not classify it as fine dining, more so a really good Italian restaurant that specializes in drinks, and a more upscale and lively vibe versus a traditional fine dining restaurant like Madeo up on W Sunset. I would say it’s a great place to bring a date or dinner with friends or family, and not so much a work dinner location. The inside is beautifully done and has some great colors. There are tapestries all along the walls with lots of plants dividing the dining areas and a very muted red color that really adds to the ambience. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, it will be valet or metered street parking. You have to check in with security street side first and then they let you walk up the ramp where you will next check in with the hostess. They have a large bar area as well as a lot of different seating options. Our table was extremely small, however, and the tables were very close together so this is not the sort of place that you’ll be able to have a private or sensitive conversation. Our server was very polite, although took quite some time to take our order initially but overall, I think he did a great job. The music is quite loud here so if someone has hearing issues they will really struggle to hear others at their table. They have a fairly large menu with a lot of great options on it. We started off with a Squash Blossoms, which were absolutely fantastic. I have ordered these all over town and this is definitely one of the better versions. I was a bit disappointed that it only comes with three which is a hard number to share so I wish the portion size would’ve been a bit larger for this. Next we followed with the Caesar Salad and it was great. Again, not a very large sized portion, but still tasty flavorwise. For my entrée, I chose the Creste Di Gallo because having the bone marrow scooped in right before you eat is an unbeatable addition to me. It was a true treat. I love bone marrow anything so this was great pasta. The bone marrow itself added a great flavor and a crunch to the meal, which I truly loved. We also ordered the special for the day, which was the Dungeness Crab Tagliatelle. It was absolutely fantastic and had a ton of crab on it. The sauce was truly what made the dish and the pasta was cooked perfectly. For dessert we topped off the meal with the Brown Sugar Budino and I definitely would recommend it. It was sweet and salty and actually a great sized portion. it was a great end of the meal.Overall, I would say Olivetta is a great date spot. It’s very lively and very noisy but in a fun way. They play the music quite loud so it has a very Friday night kind of feel to it. I would recommend and will try it again sometime in the near future.Parking: valet or metered street parking“
“The best lamb/beef DONER you can find in LA! They are actually still open but at changing locations. You need to check their instagram stories to find out where their pop up location is: @ledonerkebablaHighly recommend for the food and even better service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I was very disappointed that you only served the pool menu. That is not what I expecte at The Belvedere. I suggest that in the future you inform people of this limitation when confirming reservations for nights when you are not offering your regular menu. Thank you.“
“Great spot to eat wholesome Ukranian dishes. Going with a friend or a small group’s always a good time - lots of shareable options. My favorites shall forever be the borscht, potato vareniki, and cheese vareniki. The staff is friendly and they usually take walk-ins, though you can also call ahead to reserve a spot.Tl, dr; if you’re looking for delightful Ukrainian food with a side of random music videos, you’re in the right place.Parking: It’s about as tricky to park here as anywhere in WeHo, but often the surrounding blocks will have a few metered spots open depending on the time of day.“
“Love to come here for their pasta and pizza but the couscous was always calling my name. I come from Brussels and I was afraid to be disappointed. But that’s no way to live a life, so I went this time and tried it !It is delicious, will probably come back every time I crave a couscous! It’s probably my new favorite spot in town!Plus, a word for the amazing staff that made the birthday all the party girl’s wishes come true! Great team!“
“Everyone who held events in the restaurant was pleased not only with the beautiful table, everything was prepared with love, that’s why it was so delicious. But we can’t help but mention the equally excellent service and warm atmosphere.Dear Arkady, almost everything depends on you, as the organizer. You always do an EXCELLENT job.THANK YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE STEAM.“
“We had a lovely dinner at The Maybourne on the Terrace and were perfectly comfortable outside on a March evening. The food was excellent—there is something for everyone, and everything was prepared perfectly. It was a great way to catch up with friends over a nice meal.“
“Really enjoyed their apps and the hospitality provided here. Even got there early and Marta welcomed us early. But really went for the ambiance (Thanks, Marta) but it was bit of disappointing maybe, the time and the wind/draft as their side awnings or broken. We were a bit also disappointed by lack of food options compared to the online menu. Will try again when it's warmer and less windier.“
“Above and beyond my expectations. It was all in the details. Beautiful atmosphere that felt local and quaint. Service was friendly and cared deeply about their customers. Food was extremely fresh, perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. We'll be back over and over again.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options. The gluten free waffle and banana bread were worth the trip!“
“This place is great for anybody who is a fan of Beetlejuice, Tim Burton, or even just horror movies in general. The prices are great considering that it includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. While enjoying your meal, you will be treated to a fun and entertaining show hosted by the irreverent and hilarious Beetlejuice, himself. It turned out to be such a fun night out with friends!“
“We came here for dinner. When we arrived, they seated us at a very, very low table (like to our knees) right next to the crowd at the bar. They didn’t have any other tables to switch to, and because of the noise and the fact that we wanted to eat real food, we considered leaving. We decided to stick it out and thankfully the food made up for it!!! We ordered the eggplant, the potatoes, the buffalo cauliflower, the olives, and the octopus. I would highly recommend ALL of them, except maybe the octopus. It was good and I liked the combination of flavors, but it was more large meaty chunks of octopus when I typically prefer more thin and crispy. Overall, the food was fantastic.“
